I am writing this review in hopes that they will improve.

I have been coming to this cafe everytime I visit Rome. The location is convenient and they have great baked goods. This review will revolve mainly on their service quality. I have recommended this cafe to many people but at their current state, I won't be doing that.

We arrived at 7:30 in the morning with the cafe half full. There was alot of empty tables and infront of the pastry shelf by the enterance there was a group of 4. Not thinking that that was a line, since there was alot of empty tables, we sat down. We waited for 15 minutes before finally seeing a waitress. We said hello and asked to order but she just looked past us and walked away. As time goes by, a line started to form and a man started to assign seats. We asked him to order and he rudely screamed at us no from 3 tables away. We said that there was no line when we arrived and he would not listen to that and told us that we have to queue again. Seeing that there was only 6 people who wanted to take away orders in the queue and alot of empty tables, we decided to not argue and rejoin the line.

The pictures are taken when we were in the line. They made us wait 30 minutes in the line for no good reason. It seems like they want a line to form to show that they are a popular cafe? They have enough servers and products to sell. Meanwhile we are waiting, the table that we sat at remains empty.

While we waited, we were able to observe other tables. There was a table with 2 girls, who got a table assigned by the man and they waited around 30 mins without service and when one of them stood up to ask to order they were also told by the man to rejoin the line. They argued with the man and after some more time waiting they were able to order.

We finally got our table and immediately asked to order since we already know what we want and did not want to wait for them to come around again and to call them without success. Once we ordered, the food came quickly since it was just a coffee and maritozzo. The 2 girls got their orders after us, although they have waited longer at the table.

Overall, really poor service there are several points that they can improve on: put a "wait to be seated" sign and create a proper area for people to line up at. This will save them the effort of screaming and not block the walkway. if they are not serving certain tables, they could kindly come and say that instead of ignoring, looking right past us and screaming from tables away. Apparently they are not serving the table we were at since it was half rained on. Some people got to-go coffee and sat there but they were also shooed away. Don't put a table out, if you don't want people there. treat your paying customers with respect, you are a service business after all. better line management. Fill up your empty tables. If you need more hands then hire more hands. separate to-go and table line. It is unacceptable to wait in the same line if you just want one to-go.

I would have given this feedback directly had they've been open for it. I hope they see this and improve because its a shame and I would like to be able to come back and enjoy my...

Today's experience: waiting in line for more than 20 minutes, for two croissants to go. Why? I never learned. In more detail, the line was not even moving, and blocking the street after a while, making it hard for strollers and people with disabilities to pass by, and it is a very crowded street by the Fontana di Trevi. Meanwhile the staff had us standing there waiting, without a reason, not waiting for a table, not having any people in the bakery waiting ahead of us, with abundance of products visible by the window. And when I asked one of the staff why we were waiting and not moving, he told me, with much snobbish attitude, that I must wait for the people in front of me.... Again, there were no people in front of me, there were two people waiting for as long as I did, for a coffee and one baked good. Even more detail? When the two people in front of me were finally let inside, the staff told me to go further back because I was blocking the entrance of the bakery. Well maybe serve me and I will get as far away from your store as I can??? In the end, I was in and out in one minute maximum, because I ordered, they gave me my croissants, I payed and I was out. Just like that, just as it should have been from the beginning, instead of keeping people waiting just to prove your store is sooooo good it has lines of people waiting. To be honest, the croissant was delicious, not the best I have had, but decent. And considering the experience of trying to buy it, I did not even enjoy it after all. Too much fuss over nothing, totally...

“Located just steps away from the iconic fountain, this bakery offers a wonderful experience that combines delicious food with a stunning view. I had the chance to try the pistachio croissant, and I must say, it was absolutely divine. The pastry itself was flaky and perfectly baked, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. The pistachio filling was generous, rich, and creamy, delivering an indulgent flavor that’s both nutty and sweet.

However, due to the richness of the filling, it’s a bit on the heavy side. It’s definitely not a snack you’d want to have all to yourself unless you’re truly craving something decadent. The generous portion makes it ideal for sharing, especially if you’re looking to enjoy it with a friend while taking in the lovely surroundings.

The best part about this visit was the setting. Sitting by the fountain with such a charming view, you can truly appreciate the beauty of the area while savoring your treat. The ambiance adds so much to the overall experience, making it a perfect spot for people-watching or simply relaxing in the heart of the city.

The bakery offers a variety of pastries and snacks, all made with care and quality ingredients, but this pistachio croissant stands out as a must-try. It’s a combination of great food and a wonderful location that makes for an unforgettable experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their delicious offerings while enjoying the beautiful view of...

First things first, be prepared to wait in line here. But to be fair, the line moves at a decent pace. The only issue is that both take away customers and those wanting to sit down have to wait in the same line, so even if you just want to grab something to go, you still have to go all the way to the back and wait your turn. Also, while waiting, we noticed quite a few empty tables, so things seemed to be moving a bit slower than necessary. What really stood out during the wait was how unwelcoming the staff was. The servers were quite rude and dismissive, and at one point, a waiter trying to get to the outdoor tables actually pushed past people in line, including us, by shoving their shoulders. But the moment we finally got to the front, walked inside, and sat down, it was like stepping into a completely different place. The same staff who had been frowning and acting cold suddenly became all smiles, super sweet, and eager to take our order. That being said, the creamy croissants were absolutely delicious, and the coffee was great too. But I honestly can’t understand the attitude shift between the queue and the actual dining experience I think it was a bit odd!

⭐ 4.5/5 – Charming Spot Near Trevi Fountain ⏰ Timing & Queue We visited after Trevi Fountain around 8 am on a Saturday and queued about 20 minutes to get a table. Staff arrange seating carefully—don’t sit at a table without being assigned, as it’s considered cutting the queue. 🪶 Fun Observation When tables are empty, pigeons sneak in to grab crumbs 🐦. But they won’t approach when people are sitting, which adds a quirky little touch to the experience. 💶 Pricing Tip Takeaway is cheaper than dining in, so choose depending on your plan. The corner tables offer a lovely view of Trevi Fountain, making the extra cost worthwhile. ☕ Food & Service The food and coffee took about 20 minutes to arrive. While the food was decent, the friendly waiter made the experience pleasant and even allowed me to record some videos inside 🎥. ✨ Ambience Cozy and charming, this café has a relaxed corner-table vibe with a glimpse of the fountain—perfect for a calm morning after sightseeing.
