Bar Motondoso — Restaurant in Venice

The place is old but clean and the core business of their offer, the tramezzini are very much overrated. The bread is very good and the quality of the ingredients is good too but, they are little (you can see form the picture the tendency to squeeze the back) and 2.60€ at the time of this review makes no value for them, is just inflated to speculate on tourism (it’s plenty of other bars in Venice with same or better quality and the price is 2.20€)

The service is below average as they are quite uncoordinated but, they are very polite.

Had chocolate and strawberry milkshake ... well, it definitely had milk in it, and was a shake (frothy). But flavour wise, difficult to taste anything, even the colours, not much to differentiate the strawberry and the chocolate 😐

.... maybe an economy drive .... we drank it because it was cold and the day was hot, but taste was absent.

Also toilet had no seat. Waitress said that is how it is...

Bar Matondoso is the place to go for variety of pastry goodness — freshly baked from heaven! More importantly, the service is excellent. Particularly, Nikolina has been gracious, efficient, professional, and friendly with us customers from the United States. Nikolina made our Venetian experience a memorable one. Ciao, Bar Matondoso.
