JIN Asakusa is unlike anywhere else in the world. This isn’t just a restaurant it’s a full-on experience that blends Japanese culture, history, and the artistry of sushi into one unforgettable journey.

From the very beginning, the atmosphere was playful yet deeply rooted in tradition. I was given a chance to dress in samurai attire, which instantly set the tone for a fun and immersive dining experience. The chefs were not only skilled but also wonderful guides, walking us through every step of sushi-making with patience, humor, and genuine passion for their craft.

What stood out most was how interactive everything was. We weren’t just passively watching we actually got hands-on with sushi making, learned fascinating details about the precision behind each cut, and even took part in lighthearted quizzes where we had to guess the quality of different fish. It made everyone laugh, but at the same time, it deepened my appreciation for the skill that goes into sushi.

The balance was perfect: there were moments of laughter, moments of concentration, and plenty of chances to simply enjoy beautifully made sushi. The 105 minutes flew by in such a natural rhythm it never felt rushed or overwhelming, just thoughtfully curated from start to finish.

By the end, I realized this experience wasn’t just about eating sushi. It was about connecting with the traditions behind it, appreciating the craftsmanship, and creating a memory that stays with you long after you’ve left.

If you’re visiting Tokyo, JIN Asakusa is a must. Whether you love sushi or simply want to experience something unique, this is one of those rare places where you don’t just taste Japan you...

🌟 Our family just had the most unforgettable experience at JIN ASAKUSA @jinasakusa ! 🍣✨ We brought Jane along, and let me tell you, we all had an absolute blast!

From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was electrifying. We dressed up in samurai attire, which made the whole sushi-making process feel like a real adventure! 🥋 Jane was giggling as she rolled her own sushi, and the pro chefs were so patient and encouraging. Watching her immerse herself in the experience filled our hearts with joy. I also never thought I’ll try sushi made by Joyce, I was so impressed! Thank you for teaching her so well! 💖

The interactive games were a hit, especially when we tried to guess which fish cuts were the real sashimi and which beef was Kobe beef. The games were super fun, and we learned so much along the way! 🎌 The highlight was definitely discovering which sushi had wasabi—Jane got to choose the one mum will eat and she was so surprised when she found out she got the one with wasabi! 😂

The Shogun Course lasted about 105 minutes, and every minute was packed with fun.

As if the night couldn’t get any better, they surprised us with a trip to a secret spot to capture stunning photos of the train against the breathtaking Tokyo Skytree! 📸🏙️ The view was magical, and we couldn’t...

I was here few days ago and it was one of memorable experience when I stay in Tokyo! The access was great it was so easy to find and just 3mins from Ginza Line Asakusa Station.

The seafood was fresh, I get to taste various type of seafoods, got taste of Caviar and Kobe Beef as well! They not only gave us experience to make our own sushi, but also provide information on the seafood that we eat, the culture, etc, definitely worth to come if you’re family with kids that seek for fun interactive cultural experiences with a spark of education while in Tokyo. Had to made reservation upfront with different time slot available, I choose to come at 16:30ish slot and get to see Skytree light view after my early dinner here. If you have food allergy or food restrictions just told the staff while you were making your reservation and they will adjust accordingly! The staff and chef were so fun and speak English very well!

Make sure you come with big room on your stomach because they gave us lots of sushi and...
