I was particularly looking for the best fluffy pancake around KK and reviews brought me to this place that is smack in the middle of town, in Gaya Street. As I arrived I was fondly greeted by one of its waiter and a very nice ambience. I sat down, looked at the menu and I couldn’t say I wasn’t surprised to see that the food are priced on the higher end, ‘cept for some local delicacies which I think was ‘standard’ upscaled-price. Went ahead to order the pancake with vanilla ice cream, and it came with honey on its side. Without much waiting time, my food arrived and the pancake was fluffy, alright - and there were 3 generous pcs! The vanilla ice cream looked great alongside it and the pancakes were presentably powder- sugarcoated. However, to my dismay, the fluffy pancake was not as good as how I imagined it to be. It was rather dry, lacked flavor and something was amiss, but I could not figure out what it was. It was filling to my tummy tho, but it failed to give me that satisfaction i was looking for after a good pancake meal. Sorry, I probably had wished for it so much, that I was rather down after having the pancakes. Didn't finish all 3, but rather only 1 of em. Latte was so so, too. And I had secretly wished for the pancakes to be served with maple syrup instead of Honey tho (but that’s just my personal preference. There’re definitely more opportunities for improvement from the cafe’s side, considering the...
Read moreThe cafe in tong hing supermarket. Chicken rice is the best but the price has increased so much that one may deem not worth it (now 32 bucks). Both chicken breast and chicken thigh are delicious, moist and tender. Portion of the chicken is pretty generous for a guy, may be a little too much for a girl. Chillie and garlic paste is not more watery than before. Rice is fragrant and just nice. Americano is too bitter for my taste but it is heavenly as iced cafe latte for me. Beef Soto is quite tasty if you are aiming for something lighter. Their fish sauce fried mee hoon is surprisingly good and portion/quality is fairly reasonable for the price of 16 bucks. If you are looking for something healthier and clean, you can always go for their egg benny and avocado toast but mind you the price is rather steep compare to other cafes. Overall, if you are looking for a quality place, this cafe is the...

Came and dine in for two consecutive nights.
Hd tried Oxtail Asam pedas. It's nice but lack spiciness. I felt that this version of Asam pedas cater more to western palate. Certainly not the Malaysian version of Oxtail Asam Pedas which is more pungently in flavour and heat.
Nothing much in my miserable beef soto. As I indulge into the delicious soup, there's nothing much in it just vry little thinly cut sliced of beef (3-4pcs) and mini slice tendons😩.
Anyway, that one order of Ice Cream Cheese Cake is so delish 😋. Totally satisfying.
Pricey for dinner but then nothing is...
