The forth Taiwanese chain restaurants opens up on 7th June 2023 replacing the old Inazume fabrication factory. This establishment serves all sorts of Taiwanese food from set rice, noodles and steamboat to choose from. Less vegan options to choose from and some food are good to eat and some food need improvement. Handmade dumpling is delicious but handcrafted Khong rou bun is too chewy to eat. Drinks and dessert are ok, many options to choose. Food pricing can be a bit expensive depending what you order. The environment use calm colour of green and beige with dark wooden structure with mini plants to make the partons feel close with nature. Good for solo eaters or group gathering. The environment is clean and comfortable to dine in except during peak hour. Limited seating during peak hour. Service depends on which server you get. Local crew are very friendly and attentive to customer needs. Foreigner crew need to attend more training in customer service and need to have basic understanding on national language Bahasa melayu and English. The establishment should utilise space in front as customers carpark due to limited parking spot during peak hour. Overall, it is ok enough to...
Read moreI have no idea why this restaurant can get 4 stars when the food is not authentic and not nice at all! Stayed in Taiwan for a period of time, none of the food that I tasted in this restaurant is like Taiwanese food!
Braised pork was not enough tasty. 滷肉飯不夠味道!
Egg roll should be thin and a bit like roti canai look but theirs too thick, the flour was not good or suitable for this dish. 蛋餅根本不是這樣!
Fried chicken chop’s upper skin’s taste ok, but the meat was not nice and super oily. The bottom skin is tasteless. 香雞排只有上面的皮好吃,肉沒味道而且很油,下面的皮根本沒味道!
Popcorn chicken same too, tasteless in the meat. Only the fried skin had some taste but not enough fragrance.
Milk tea with Pearl wasn’t fragrance or enough ‘milk tea’ taste. 奶茶很不夠香,不夠味道
The brown sugar pearl brulee is not bouncy as it supposed to be! It taste like normal soya milk pudding but not soft that kind.
This restaurant is pet-friendly, I wanted to bring my pets and family here before the food came. When we tasted the food, we felt that we won’t come back again. Cannot fulfill our Taiwanese food carving at all....
Read moreThis cute interior Taiwanese restaurant is located in town, situated in front of a busy main road, and I must admit that parking was a bit of a challenge. I ended up parking in New World Park nearby and walking to the shop.
Now, onto the food. I tried their signature beef rice set and braised pork rice set, and I have to say, they both tasted rather average. Surprisingly, the side dishes (soup and cucumber) were more flavorful than the mains. On the plus side, the prices were quite affordable.
However, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, especially after reading positive reviews about the place. While I wouldn't discourage you from giving it a try, I'm not sure if I'd visit again if the food remains at this average level. Try avoiding lunch hour on weekdays as it will be very packed with people...
