Chill With Classic — Restaurant in George Town

It's hard to write a review from this angle, but I'll have to. There are places where the waiters will forget about you. This is absolutely not that kind of place. It's the opposite. When I was eating, they were always coming up to me, taking away plates, glasses, and commenting on something else. It is unpleasant and not polite. The ideal waiter is the one you have never seen, he comes when he is called. That's it. Nothing else is required. When I put a piece of food in my mouth, I don't want a man standing next to me or taking something from my table. It's embarrassing. It's not the best service. I'm not likely to come again.

The atmosphere itself is good, the light is stifling. Nice music.

The food is also a 4. Small portions. The price is higher than average, but not cosmic either.

If the waiters were less intrusive it would be a huge plus.

I paid 70RM for a cup of chocolate, beef tail soup...

I been to this restaurant for many times than I could remember, but this time really disappointed with the service.

There is one waitress, bob hair, keep our water glasses, without permission. She shouldn’t have done that, even tho I have clear my bill. We didn’t have intention to leave yet because of heavy rain.

Please train floor staff to be extra polite, and read customer body languages, table situation if they have done with their drinks or food.

Ask for permission to clear the plates, that’s what mouth function for. Do ask!

The food here is unique, giving a bold and distinctive flavour in the food. Personally I enjoyed the lamb shank because its packed with so much flavour, cooked very well and served with a fragrant mint sauce. I enjoy the food here very much and it is not something you can find in ordinary cafés and restaurants. Not to mention the "vanilla ice cream" is unique because they incorporate different flavours which brings out the richness of the vanilla taste.

The atmosphere is light and relaxing with amazing service. Although the food takes a while but the quality makes up for it!
