Eventually ate the right taste of roasted goose, not bad compare to those selling in Hongkong common restaurants. It will be great if the goose having more fat. The slightly crispy skin and the goose juice from the marinated sauce makes them taste so authentic.

The fish paste gourd is good with light flavor which brings out the taste of fish paste provided that this is homemade. The fish paste texture is right. Not fish ball texture and tastes not overly packed with msg flavors. That is the fish paste I used to get in Hongkong wet market.

The pork ribs seems not as good as the others. It does has some msg salt on top which makes me feel thirsty afterwards.

Finally comes with the steam egg white. It tastes good without too sweet. Texture isn't bad which is smooth but not gelatin style smooth. I am sure it will be much better if I eat it warm. Too bad they only serve it cold. Quality can compare to most of the dessert places which serve this in Hongkong. But those in Hongkong even taste a little bit more sweet usually and having more milk in flavor. Perhaps the fresh milk in Penang not as good as those selling in Hongkong which I don't blame the chef.

Although service is just so so, the taste of foods are authentic. So far, I consider as outstanding Cantonese style restaurant in Penang. Definitely...

Will not recommend this place. Food and ambience are so so, overrated by some reviewers. It’s a Chinese restaurant ran by several sisters of a family, they need to attend hospitality and interpersonal skills training. Service is terrible, initially we wanted 2-3 dishes which they claimed need 45 minutes of waiting time, then they started pushing whatever dish they have. The menu clearly stated one dish as “三丝海鲜炒面"， the first photo shown that there is no seafood except for some shredded ingredients. We clarified with them, Lady #1 came by and said we must have seen wrongly, this dish does not come with seafood. We asked for the menu again, pointed to Lady #2, she said they have just “updated” their menu recently, and was surprised that the menu clearly shown “三海鲜丝炒面", so it was a printing error which no one proof read, they didn’t realise or didn’t bother to amend, she simply said sorry. But we were pissed with the comment that “you have seen it wrongly!”, Lady#1 didn’t even bothered to come forward and apologised. Not worth your visit, let’s move on. MAPLE PALACE is the place to go, which we enjoyed excellent service...

Worst dining experience ever! I requested 4 times the waiter come to order food ended up I have to walk down and order, follow by the food, serve two dishes then stop, asked the waiter few times for white rice, no one serve us then I have to walk down and take the rice, funny part is the rice is still cooking!!! Asked us to wait 20 mins! After 20 mins no one serve us rice too. So we eat the dishes without rice! We ordered 6 dishes but only come 4, drink also never serve! Ended up I have to go down again self serve my drink.
