Checked out He’Feng Kitchen in Terminal Pahlawan.Parking can be a bit of a hassle because it shares with the hotel/mall, but you’ll usually find a spot if you're willing to walk a bit.The cafe is small, neat, and has a simple, understated charm,clean decor and pleasant enough for a casual bite.

Wok Fried Carrot Cake-Tried their wok fried carrot cake . It had that unmistakable woky aroma,you can smell and taste that slight char and smoky caramelization, which is nice. But here’s the catch, it was way too oily. You could taste the wok heat, sure, but the oiliness overshadowed much of the flavour and made it a bit heavy after a couple of bites.

Cheong Fun Chicken – 3/5.The chicken chee cheong fun looked silky and smooth.honestly, it was okay only. Texture wise, soft and slurpy, but it didn’t really pack a punch in flavour. It’s edible, mildly comforting, but doesn’t hit strong in any particular direction.

Steamed Chicken & Prawn Dumplings – 3/5.Their dim sum section is decent. The steamed chicken and prawn dumplings were fine,dumpling skin was firm, and the filling was warm and lightly seasoned. Nothing spectacular, but decent enough if you’re in the mood for simple dim sum.

Really compliments to the chef! The food is excellent! Food tastes fresh and flavourful. The only unfortunate thing is the service staff, guy wearing black uniform, displays poor service. Shows lack of energy, looks unhappy to answer questions, and had me waiting at the cashier to make payment while he scooted to the kitchen when there are no other guests left. He doesnt respond with usual service standards, such as 'thank you' after payment. During the meal, as we were eating, he came with one of our orders and stood there, when we saw him standing there for a while, we moved the food aside for him to place the tray. I've no problem with this, but cant he say something? Just stood there waiting for us to move our food on the table. At the cashier, when payment didnt go through 1st time, he said softly, try again. Accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant when we stayed at silverscape. Initially when we arrived, we were pretty sceptical as there was only one table but later we realized that there was an event in one of the dining room.

The chef actually came out to meet us to ask about our orders after we had asked about the soup of the day. He recommended some dishes after which and we took his recommendation. All the dishes were very tastefully done and well presented. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant that I had visited in melaka. Not only was the food tasty, it was presented really well and nothing was spared to give patrons a wonderful dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was very well appropriated with a classy feel to it. Not forgetting the view that the restaurant has to offer!
