Although the menu is huge and heavy, it's mostly packed with pages of information regarding the wonderful history behind the most notable and delicious Indian dishes.
Since it was a relatively small group, I only got to try a few times. Namely, their Andhra Chicken 65, Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Bryani, Traditional Butter Chicken, Butter Naan, and their Mango Lassi.
The biriyani was packed full of flavour and the mutton was well seasoned and cooked. There wasn't any gamey taste to the meat, and thankfully, it was not chewy at all. So many places mess up mutton dishes by not cooking them properly.
The butter chicken was distinctively different from all other butter chicken dishes I've tried till date. This was a bit more tangy and had a nice edge to it. Loved the taste.
The Lassi is hands down the creamiest and most flavorful Lassi I've had.
Pricing for the food was on the higher end. However, sadly the drinks were just way too expensive. A biriyani is for MVR 120, but so is the Faloodha.
The overall experience, save for the high menu prices, was an absolute delight, and I can see myself coming here again in the future to try more of...
