📞Call ahead or order online. According to the owner, that gets you through the door before anyone standing and waiting outside in the cold #BS. 🐃💩
We didn't even stick around to try the food after the terrible experience. 🙅🏼♂️They came and took our order after twenty minutes of waiting outside in the windy and cold environment.🌬💨❄️ They then proceeded to seat two girls 👯that popped out of nowhere - because they allegedly🤔🙄 called ahead and ordered their food.
My husband and I both agreed that we would rather eat at home or at McDonald's 🍟🍔😋than support a family owned and operated restaurant that treats its patrons - pregnant (big round and jolly) patron - this way🤰🏼. It's sad and disheartening that we didn't get to partake in the experience but part of dining out is the way you are treated by your host.
*My husband wanted me to add that we never eat McDonald's but that's how upsetting this was...
Read moreWe tried this unusual sandwich shop as it was recommended to us.
We found- Poor service - waitress was already slow, then cleaned every last table before taking any orders from the same tables.
Bad layout - shop needs to be rearranged to meet requirements better. Guests must come inside to pay and dodge serving staff, takeaway customers and eat-in diners - all in a tiny space. It is on a sloped surface, but every outdoor table and chair is at an odd angle and wobbles.
Charged us €3.50 for hot water - threw in a teabag and sugar we didn't want. Still called it "hot water".
Good bits.. Sandwich selection is creative and larger than most sandwich shops across Amsterdam.
We had a ham and cheese croissant that came with generous amounts of both.
We had a tasty toasted sandwich - salami, cheese, tomatoes and onions. However it came with a very average salad - I'd have been...
Read moreJust a small corner sandwich shop on some random street in the middle of Amsterdam, but this food was delicious. A friend and I went here on a recent trip and chose the restaurant because it was supposed to be very affordable. The service at first was borderline awful it took us about twenty minutes to wave a server down and place our order. That being said the food was out swiftly and it was delicious. I ordered the warm mozorella pesto tomato sandwich with a salad which was great, and my friend had a smoke salmon salad sandwich (they must have put five bucks of salmon on it at least). Everything was fresh and delicious with seasonal ingredient to boot. The best part may have been the bull for once as two sandwiches and salads as well as two drinks cost us a mere twelve euros. Or about sixteen US dollars. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great lunch...
