O'Learys Hötorget — Restaurant in Stockholm

We (small work team) went here for a nice evening. We ordered food and one hour and 20 minutes it arrived. I had the mixed grill. Everything was cold. It was missing chilli mayo and coleslaw. No service staff around to help. The beer was not chilled. It was a bit noisy, but it is a sports bar so that is expected. We played some games, that was ok. Then had a desert. It was the coldest ice-cream I had ever had, not smooth and creamy but more crystal as if it had been defrosted and refrozen. Again several items missing compared to the menu description. The waiter realised he had forgotten spoons, then takes 5 minutes to get them. Went to the toilet, no toilet paper or paper towels (also the toilet door opens right next to several tables with guest sitting eating. Floor in the toilet was messy. I didn't count but I'm sure there were more people that allowed according to the fire regulations. What a disappointment the visit was. I know lots of people who thinks this place is nice, so maybe my experience was...

Booked a table for 20:00 to watch the England game many days in advance, after being seated for 5 minutes the guy from the door told us that we need to order food as ‘that’s the rules’ or we need to find a table upstairs. After not knowing this and not being told on the phone that I needed to order food, I checked upstairs and every table was reserved already, so we were left without a table. We decided to try and sit at the bar upstairs after being told we need to move and the guy continued to be abhorrently rude upstairs saying that it’s my fault that’s the rule everywhere you need to say that. I’ve been living in Sweden for 4 years and when you book a table at a sports bar for a popular sporting event at 20:00 it does not mean food. We paid for our drink and left dissapointed....

On a trip to Stockholm and Malmö is playing. We were in the area and decided to go there to watch the game. Sadly they could not show it. However the staff was great. The sortiment was as you'd expect from a sports bar. BUT the great thing was the second floor. There was a bunch of different games such as shuffle board and others. It was free as well. So I'd for sure recommend you to go there. Grab some drinks, watch some sport and hang out and play some shuffle board.

Update: a year and a half later I visited again. Still good. Had food this time aswell. Can recommend the burgers fur sure. I got the chilli one and it was great. Some good...
