Great area for a meal, great views and a kid friendly area. The service was great, very pleasant experience. Decent selections in their menu, keep in mind the earlier closing times when planning. The food was good/okay, not authentic, for a foodie purist the Cubano was definitely short of what was expected. The Pavillion is a great place with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn and a children’s playground nearby, it’s an ideal place to have lunch. The food was tasty and the service was very attentive. One of the highlights is watching the ice skaters glide across the rink while sipping on a delicious hot chocolate. Requested tap water x 3 . The waiter brought 3 glasses of water to the table . The water was still not gas or mineral water . Charged 4.40 Swiss francs for tap water . This restaurant takes advantage of tourist who really don’t have the knowledge to decline as we were not told that tap water in Zermatt is as much as a small beer. What a rip off .
