We have been living in Zermatt most of the year for a very long time. Just before Christmas we had the idea to have a drink before dinner at the Vernissage bar. The place was almost empty and the barman very unmotivated (ok, we know how difficult is to get good stuff right now). The very special and extraordinary design of the place however does not justify the outrageous price of 30 francs just for a gintonic and 1dl of rose wine (11 francs). This rose can be bought in Coop for about 22 francs a bottle. All other bars in Zermatt charge 7-9 francs for an average wine. 4 people next to us were waiting at least 10 min till somebody came to take the order, although there were just 3 other tables occupied.
