Laem Sai Cup Café — Restaurant in Karon

The view at this cafe is without a doubt amazing. The drinks and food here are also very delicious and at reasonable prices to. The staff are friendly and enjoyed it when I spoke to them in Thai about the amount of Chinese people there.

However there a far to many Chinese tourists here when we went, the majority of customers in the queue were Chinese and once you've ordered your food you have another queue of Chinese at the first swing at the cafe taking photos of each other, in every other viewpoint in the cafe the Chinese were again there taking photos of each other. The photos were constant and only moved out the way when I got in their view of their photoshoots. I have nothing against Chinese people but if you've never been to Beijing coming to this cafe would offer you a similar experience. I appreciate eveyone wants to take photos with the fantastic view but take a couple of photos then move on and let someone else take a photo!

After ordering drinks and sandwiches you're given a buzzer which will go off when your order is ready to collect, the wait time for us was about 15 minutes but it was worth the wait.

A recommendation for this Cafe would be to limit the number of customers at anyone time and it would make this cafe a whole lot more enjoyable for everyone, also some signs about not blocking the walkways to take photos and limiting time taking photos at any one place, especially...

Beautiful place in the Nature up a small Hill, but you get shitty coffee for 2,50$ served in a plastic cup. We came cause of a recommendation, but they forced us to buy to drinks (1 person, 1 drink) we love good coffee and said we would like to try first one and if it's good, we take another one.

We sat down in a packed place with lots of people doing pictures all the time in front of you. after one sip you got disturbed and forced to buy a second drink.

We mentioned that the coffee doesn't taste good and is served in plastic, so we asked to get our money back, because they just want people who buy two drinks. The staff were laughing disrespectful and annoying, they wouldn't give us the money back. So we had to through the rubbish in the bin.. we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Nice view but I tried to see if a friend I was meeting was already there with a seat, was told by staff I could look from one spot only where you can even see half the tables. So I walked down slightly and they came charging over to me to say I needed to order, I said I just told you I’m looking for a friend first. I totally get it they don’t want people coming just to take photos but I was clearly looking for someone and didn’t even have my phone out. In the end we left and went next door, to A blanket and pillow instead which was much more friendly and inviting, and actually loved our food and drink there!
