Three Nights of Perfection at Mom's Garden – A Culinary and Cultural Delight
My wife and I had an extraordinary experience at Mom's Garden in Istanbul, where we spent three consecutive nights. Each time, we were impressed by both the atmosphere and the quality of the food.
The restaurant offers exceptional service, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I especially want to highlight the kindness of the owner, Muhammed, who made sure our dinners were perfect, as well as the rest of the staff, who were always ready to help and made us feel at home.
One of the most special moments was their version of kebab, served in a clay pot – a true house specialty! It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor and spices, and truly stands out as one of the best dishes we’ve tried in Istanbul.
On our last evening, they surprised and delighted us – owner Muhammed and the staff danced with us, which was a beautiful way to end our stay. That moment truly won us over and made our visit even more special.
Mom's Garden is a place we will always remember, and the kindness and warmth of the staff make it even more special. If you're looking for a restaurant with authentic food, friendly service, and an unforgettable atmosphere, this is the...
Read moreI was here on August 28, 2022. We asked for a Kebob and to be sure about the food, we asked about the pieces of meat and the size of Kebob. My wife asked for Steak. We were told my kebob will be minimum 200 gr of meat. What was served was 20 gr or less. We left the restaurant without eating and without paying. The staff asked for the cost of two water bottles. They asked for 36 Turkish lira. The same bottle is 3 Lira anywhere else. We argued and we were not charged. Nevertheless, I have to write this comment even if we were not charged. Highly recommended to any tourist to check the reviews before going to any restaurant. There are some positive comments from some accounts but also negative ones. No one can force you to pay money for low quality products or services. My wife's steak looked aweful and small. You can get way better, larger NY steak in bay area, Ca, the most expensive part of the world, with more reasonable cost. Those who charge high for little, should know that not only they can ruin their own reputation, but also the reputation of their nicer neighbors and citizens. Now if I or my family or colleagues want to come to Turkey, a lovely country with hard working people, we will think twice just...
Read moreThis place is overpriced and they charge a “tax” or “service fee” that isn’t noted anywhere on the menu or mentioned before buying. I purchased 5 soups and 5 wraps and paid 1897.50 TL or $97.57 UDS including a 172 TL tax. When I questioned the tax he pointed at the menus that had a statement about allergies not about tax. We only came here because our tour guys took our group here. The soups were good but the wraps where a 4 out of 10 and the fries were cold. DO NOT EAT HERE due to the scam charge they sneak in. Bad business
After seeing all the reviews on Scam Charges, it’s hard to believe they are still in business and have over a 4 star rating, Google please fix your ratings and algorithms 🙏🏼
They must have a way of blocking my review because it’s been posted for over a year with only...
