Staff members were extremely disrespectful to my friend and accused him of being someone that he is not. In this assumption they refused to service him after waiting 15 minutes and serviced others instead. In that moment he began to display his frustrations as he was being ignored. Instead of managing the situation appropriately the manager was rude and condescending to my friend while slamming doors and waving him off in a dismissive manner. They proceeded to express that “he always has a problem with his food, so we couldn’t help him”. As someone that works in customer service, it is imperative to remain professional and to service the client to the best of their ability. When confronted by others they took no accountability of their actions and lied about their role in the situation, which was caught on film, and instead deflected the issue on my friend for his conduct AFTER the situation escalated. Although my friend could have handled the situation better his frustrations are valid as he has never had an issue before although being accused of being a troublesome client. Let this be a learning lesson on how not to treat people based on a preconceived notion that you have towards them. I personally have never eaten at this establishment and have no desire to after this interaction and their attempt to justify, but I know several people that do and I will be sure to encourage them to lead with caution as they make LOOK like someone else and be treated in such regard. The staff quickly informed us that the owner knows about the situation and I hope the owner is well-versed in customer service and can equip their team with the proper tools to avoid other issues like this. As I expressed to the women at the establishment and the young man that they called for backup over at Beto’s Tacos, we all work in customer service and although we may have bad days we should lead with grace and respect for others no matter who they are and how they are ASSUMED to be. This situation reflects the reason that this locations has such terrible reviews and the owner’s lackluster responses. It is very unfortunate! I personally feel like the mall can use this space for another business that provides the proper service to the people in and around the...
Read moreI wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone, I had the worst customer service experience ever. My family member ordered food for us both while I stood close by ,when I noticed a sign that said “wait here to be seated “so I wait. At that time a employee approached me and refused to seat me stating that I can’t be seat because my family member order food to go. I in turned offered to order more food just to be seated but again was refused service. Then the employee told me I couldn’t even eat my food at the restaurant and that I had to eat at a common area in the mall and then she strolled off. So I sat down on one of the bar stools and continue to wait on my food. When our order was complete my family brought me my food at the bar stool where I was seated, at the time I began to get my food when another employee approached me and told me I couldn’t seat and eat my food at the counter first stating that she was about to clean it then stating that the waitress makes their money in tips!!! I told her that” I was going to eat my food right here because this is where I paid”. Then she strolled off and called mall security. When he arrived he spoke to the employees first and then came to me and I explained to him exactly what had happened, he giggled in Disgust. He told me stay seated, enjoy my food and have a nice day. This location had a 100% Hispanic staff in Atlanta. I don’t THINK this was about race because I’m afro American. But I do think I was refused a seat because the staff here was trying to reserve them for “paying customers(tipping customers)”. We ordered 40 dollars worth of food and was still refused a seat, not to mention trying to have us thrown out for refusing to leave before we finished our food. Corporate really has to reevaluate this location, food was good but The customer service was the worst I ever had at any professional...
Read moreI visit this place on Saturday the 30th of March. I didn't have a problem with the food or my server. I paid with the card, gratuity was included because it was a party of 7. Once I got my statement I saw that I had been overcharged. I contact the restaurant and spoke with Brenda Brenda said that I would have to speak with the owner I also called and left him a message which I didn't receive a call from him. I tried later that evening at the speaking with Brenda she said that she would contact her manager again I didn't hear back from Brenda so I called the manager. It was if my number had been blocked because I didn't receive an answer so I tried the restaurant again he answered and asked me to never call his restaurant again. I told him that I was only calling because I had been over charged and I was trying to get a refund. I let him know that him answering the telephone the way he did was very unprofessional. I also told him that he could keep the money if that makes him happy by overcharging people and getting over then his business would fail. So if you eat there and you use your credit card or debit card or anything to pay please be aware and check to make sure that you're not being overcharged. Yes I am one unsatisfied customer and I will never eat at this establishment again. 12/2024 It's sad that even after giving a review that the manager wouldn't even bother to make things right or even apologize. This is not how you...
