As a chemistry teacher, I have learned about the advantages of using liquid nitrogen to make some of the smoothest ice cream. However, I I have never been able to try this on my own. Luckily, I noticed Subzero Nitrogen Ice Cream whilst in Atlanta visiting the world of Coca Cola. At the shop, they have the nitrogen tank on full display, and you can watch the chemists make your ice cream by applying liquid nitrogen. To order you get to choose your flavor, the type of cream used and any mix ins. Similar to Coldstone or Baskin-Robbins they have some premade flavors that you can also choose from. What’s the chemist have made your treat, you can enjoy it! Well, of course you have to pay. Please don’t forget that. I chose to go with cake batter, ice cream, using original cream and the pop rocks mix in. In this case, the pop rocks were applied at the end otherwise I believe they would be damaged. The flavor was quite good. I will admit I prefer the taste of Coldstone cake, better ice cream. However, the texture is something you have probably never experienced before. I don’t think it’s fair to try and describe it, like the Matrix, it’s something you have to experience for yourself. I also thought the prices were fairly reasonable, As they were priced similar to what you would pay at Coldstone. They even had waffle cones, and waffle bowls available. Despite the flavor, not being the best cake batter I am still giving this place five stars. The only real negative is the automatic prompt for a tip, which is something I am tired of in these types of establishments. I absolutely think Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream is worth trying once for the experience and I would probably go again, though I may need to find a different flavor or mix in combination.

Their extensive menu features a wide selection of both lactose-free and vegan options, empowering you to indulge in guilt-free indulgence. Their delectable waffle cones, provide the perfect vessel for these frosty treats. If you prefer a more substantial base, their pie-style creations are sure to satisfy. The meticulous attention to detail at Sub Zero is evident in every element of their creations. From the first sip to the final bite, each flavor transports you to a culinary paradise. Their secret lies in their unique nitrogen freezing technique, which locks in the freshness and intensifies the flavors. Overall, Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream is an absolute must-try for ice cream enthusiasts. Its unmatched flavors, customizable options, and captivating presentation make it a destination not to be missed. Overall thoughts: a fun ice cream shop that doesn't taste artificial. Food: We got two of the Senesations on their menu. One was Key Lime Voltage, and the other was Mass Mocha Madness (names might be slightly off). Both were wonderful. The flavors carrier through without tasting fake. It was a light and refreshing dessert and not overly sweet. Service: We went during an off time, so there was no wait. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were also super patient while we made up our minds, there are a lot of flavors available. Atmosphere: It has a typical ice cream shop vibe with some inside seating. If busy, it could feel crowded.

Absolutely abominable location. I’ll start off by saying I’ve never had a problem the handful of times I’ve come to this store over the years but after my experience today I’ll be skipping them the next time we come down for the aquarium. I went in and ordered a bubble gum ice cream as I typically do and got a good two bites in before my infant son started to fuss due to hunger. As I started to feed him I felt my throat tighten which is a tell tale sign of an allergic reaction for me so I drank some water and went down to the counter. Immediately the two individuals behind it (that were off the bat, extremely rude and ignoring me my entire transaction, in favor of speaking to two other Hispanic customers that I’m assuming they where friends with since the girls already had their ice cream and where joking with each other in Spanish) was extremely hostile towards me and tried to tell me that I should’ve read a sign that was being blocked by one of her friends who was eating the ice cream and the small huddle they were making when I purchased my food So it wasn’t their fault. I had an allergic reaction due to cross contamination because they were not washing their utensils properly. After a bit of back-and-forth, she told me to throw away my ice cream and that they would refund me if I did so I walked with my son and his stroller back up the ramp to the trashcan and threw it away, and when I came back to get a refund, she tried to tell me she did not tell me that, and that they don’t do refunds and after staring at me silently and realizing I wasn’t leaving she said she would go get her manager. He came from the back a couple of minutes later, excessively mad, and raising his voice towards me off the bat. I informed him of what was happening and he questioned me on how I knew I was having an allergic reaction so I told him that I was showing all of the signs of having an allergic reaction and as I was trying to explain that I had eaten here multiple times before with the same item and never had a problem He tried to tell me that they didn’t have cross contamination whatsoever, so at that point, I calmly turned to the lady that told me that they did have cross contamination, and I asked him to ask her what she had told me because they were saying different things, and he would not let me say anything. He kept yelling over me and telling me that’s not true , and that it was bullshit and a bunch of other profanities. At this point I was just about ready to leave and dispute the transaction with my card when I went home, but he told me never to come back and processed the refund. This was completely unprofessional. I was nothing but kind and level toned with them. I never said anything rude, no matter the fact that I was treated in considerably from the very beginning , because even though my son is rather small still, I’m trying to set a good example, and I’m trying not to expose him to yelling and profanities and things of that nature so it was very disturbing having this grown man scream down at me with an infant because the food they served me gave me an allergic reaction and I did not want it. I’d suggest treading lightly with this store in general ESPECIALLY if you...
