Buckshot — Restaurant in Austin

One of my favorite bars on dirty 6th street. It's basically 4 bars in 1. There's the main bar when you walk in that has TV's usually showing sports games, the back bar downstairs that is basically a night club with a light up stage for dancing, the upstairs inside bar that has a bunch of arcade games, and the outside patio bar that is a great place to have a conversation with friends. You could basically hang here all night and switch the scene from the different bar options within the whole place. If you feel like going to dirty 6th but are unfamiliar with the chaos I would reccomend starting off here. It's technically a shot bar, but they have pretty much everything else you could want. I've been to Buckshot a handful of times and I never seem to know what to expect every time I arrive, other than knowing there is an extensive menu of shots to order from. Usually the roof top is open but there have been weekend nights I went there and only downstairs was open. When the roof top is open, they offer beers, cocktails and hard seltzers. There is also arcade games on the second floor and some form of music on the rooftop. I used to love this bar it was always so much fun...UNTIL they overcharged me for a couple shots and a drink. The moment I knew I was overcharged I did not put a tip on the receipt...but when the charge cleared with my bank they added another 5 dollars for a tip for themselves. I wasn't given a receipt as proof just the receipt to sign. The fact that a business allows their employees to take advantage of people like this is just bad business....
