It is in the mall-esque section, so just be aware. I went and picked up: Passionfruit Macaroons- Amazing worth it- you can actually tast the passion fruit. Raspberry Macaroons- Lovely. A bit sweeter, but the berry comes through. Vanilla Bean Cake- Perfectly balanced flavors Carrot Cake Pops- Amazing Carrot cake, but we didn't like the icing. Wish we had the option to have the cake sans icing. Ginger Cookies- Lacked the ginger flavor. Did not taste like a ginger cookie. Molasses Cookies- Again- how? No molasses flavor, but a decent cookie. Chocolate Chip Cookies- a good cookie would recommend.
Delicious pastries in a lovely calming atmosphere. Fantastic sunny spot with tables for studying, coffee dates, or showing friends and family around. Kids will love the display cases. Mia’s is close enough to the Seaport action and adjacent stores but, tucked into the Superette Courtyard as it is, still a private enough spot to feel intimate.

I recommend their pastries, particularly their macaroons, cupcakes, and chocolate chip cookies, and perhaps looking elsewhere for coffee—to be honest, if you’re willing to spend $10 on a dirty chai latte, you’re better served going to Blue Bottle. But if Mia’s comes to make their coffee as good as their pastries and customer service, my bank account will...

She told the counter that I’m particular since I’ve been in the restaurant biz for 2 decades, and that I bake. They suggested red velvet, which is chocolate cake with red food dye. NEVER should this cake be suggested to a culinary professional. Not only is it a horrible type of cake, this was the WORST red velvet I’ve ever had. The frosting did that overly sweet thing where it makes the mount feel funny. The cake itself was barely there as there was far too much of this disgusting frosting. The macarons were all sugar as well. Don’t bother, you can bake a sunken Hines for much less and it will...
