I walked into an empty restaurant at Stubby’s in Seaport expecting quick service, but instead waited over 20 minutes for my food. During that time, I watched two customers who ordered after me receive their meals first. I understand different menu items can take longer, but in an empty restaurant this is unacceptable.

What made the experience worse was the lack of professionalism: the cooks in the back were laughing and eating while the person at the register just stared at them aimlessly. I asked a few times for an update on my order and was told “it’s coming up” — only to see him immediately turn to take someone else’s order.

My issue isn’t just the delay, it’s the poor standard of service, lack of discipline, and zero accountability shown by the staff. For a location in such a prime spot, you’d expect much higher quality service. Disappointing...

We were visiting from New York and stopped at Stubby’s for lunch, looking for something different from the usual chain restaurants and we’re so glad we did! Even though we just ordered burgers and fries, everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were great. Highly recommend the waffle fries..they were crispy, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot.

The staff was super kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, perfect for a casual family meal and the bathrooms were clean, which we always appreciate when traveling with kids.
