Second time I have been here now, once with my son and then again with the whole family. Awesome subs and only heightened by the fact that they put bacon on almost everything. When it comes to the sandwiches they pile on the meat and cheese, definitely enough to fill even the hungryest of hungry. I like what they have done with the toppings as well by keeping it simple with the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and if you like it a little hot jalapeños. Most chain sandwich shops over do it on the toppings to hide the fact that they give you little helpings of meat and cheese and up charge you for more. The employees atleast at this particular location are top notch and on the ball. It was smack dab in the height of the lunch rush when we came in and once again unlike some other chain sandwich shops I have been to lately everyone was hard at work. Everyone was doing their job making sure that every order was filled and filled right. I personally was preoccupied with snapping some good pics and they still got my sandwich made quickly and correctly. This crew had just about moved the entire lunch crowd through before our departure even having time to pose for a pic after cleaning up. I asked one of the employees hiw they did it and she informed me that they had a system and from what I saw it works. I do have to mention as I do in most of my reviews that it is nice to see that all customer service oriented establishments have not gone down hill since the pandemic. Last but most certainly not least the restaurant it self was also clean and well organized including the bathrooms which...
Read moreThe food is okay as Branded. However this is the forth trip I’ve made in this establishment and had to ask the employees to change gloves and or wash their hands or the serving tables.. Today I went into the store I asked the woman (Jaz) to change gloves she says okay and make hand movements as if she were attempting to remove them while askin me what kind of bread on one sub I told her she used the contaminated gloves to hand her co worker the white bread the presumed to grab my wheat bread for the other order with the gloves as well. I again asked her to change her gloves. I observed her laughing with an employee and doing something with her hands before returning to the grills where she playfully while lookin at her fellow employees, smear my roll all over the unwashed or sanitized grill that I watched her rub the entire roll with both hands smiling while contaminating the bread with the substances of the grill. I canceled my order and asked for management .. where the employees recieved me before giving me the right information and letting me know a store manager will be in later in the afternoon. This place needs to be inspected and or employees need to be properly trained in food safety and contamination and cross contamination. As I do not consume pork products or dairy . All I asked was for her to change gloves and she ignorantly prepared and destroyed my sandwich with a smile...
Read moreJust came from the Chambersburg Jersey Mikes. The first time I had a bad experience there. While watching my sub being made I noticed that the lettuce was not fresh. I thought to myself, "I'm going to have to put my own lettuce on that when I get home and remove theirs which I just did. I wouldn't have written a review about that. Here is the real reason I am writing this review. Once done, the girl who put on the lettuce, onions, etc. laid my sub on the bare countertop by the register instead of on the paper that they wrap them with. The girl who runs the register wasn't there. Maybe she is the one who gets the paper ready to lay the sub on but she wasn't there at that moment so the girl just laid it on the countertop with no paper. Then she seemed to realize that wasn't a good thing so she then got the paper and wrapped the sub. I'm not happy. Will eat the sub anyway and hope I don't get Covid. God only knows what had touched that countertop. Oh! And I asked for oil on the side and when I got home it was oil and vinegar mixed together so I wont be using that either as I don't particularly like...
