X Bar in Denver is an electrifying spot that truly embodies inclusivity and a vibrant atmosphere. As an LGBTQI+ bar, it celebrates diversity, but what stands out the most is how it welcomes everyone with open arms. Iâm straight, but from the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely invited and comfortable. The energy in the bar is contagiousâwhether itâs a regular weekday evening or a lively weekend night, X Bar knows how to keep the good vibes flowing.
The drinks at X Bar are top-notch, with a great selection that caters to all tastes. Whether youâre in the mood for a classic cocktail, a craft beer, or something unique, the bartenders here mix them up perfectly. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.
One of the things I appreciated most about X Bar is its inclusivity. Itâs a space where everyone can just be themselves, which is increasingly rare these days. The decor is modern and stylish, with an ambiance that feels both trendy and laid-back. The outdoor patio is another highlight, providing a great spot to unwind and enjoy the evening air.
Overall, X Bar is more than just a barâitâs a community hub that fosters a sense of belonging for everyone who walks through its doors. If youâre in Denver and looking for a place thatâs fun, welcoming, and full of life, X Bar is definitely...
Read moreI loved this place !! I went to Denver with my partner and we were looking for queer bars that wouldn't be gay-cis-white-dude dominated and this definitely delivered. We just happened to be there on Lip Sync Thursdays which was amazing! They had a cart of clothes and wigs for performers to use and it wasn't a huge crowd but everyone who performed was so impassioned and fun and everyone else in the bar just seemed to be really enjoying themselves. On this night (and maybe all Thursdays, but I'm not sure?) they had 'lip flips' where you could choose heads or tails and if the bartender flipped the side you'd chosen you got your drink for free ! Paid for our first set of drinks and then I got a free g&t AND someone just walked around at a certain point with free shots! We felt very "what the hell is this place?" There is also a huge front patio with lots of couches and chairs and inside there is a photo booth. It doesn't look like most of the photos I've seen on here, which maybe are from a way it used to look. It's a darker and dancier atmosphere.
We went again the two following nights. No free drinks and many more people. Felt less magical but still like an objectively...
Read moreI've been to Xbar dozens of times, but had the absolute worst experience on Halloween. The bar was super packed and clearly understaffed, which I understand. I ordered a drink, and the bartender took my card and didn't give it back. After a few minutes he asked me what I was still doing there, and when I said I didn't get my card back he said he had given it back, so I left. I checked my bank account the next day, and they had charged someone else's drinks totaling about $80 to my card, and must have given it to that person, so I needed to order a replacement. I recognize this was an honest mistake, but my major issue was the attitude of the bus boy that night (bigger guy with a beard). He ran into the wings I was wearing, and then yelled at me that I needed to take them off and berated me in front of all the other customers. I understand that staff was probably stressed that night, but it's completely unacceptable to give this kind of attitude to a customer who hasn't done anything to you. My wings wouldn't have been an issue if the event wasn't extremely oversold in the first place. I'm honestly disgusted with this behavior, and will be choosing other establishments...
