I randomly discovered this gem while walking to my hotel on Sunday evening — and WOW! I caught a whiff of something amazing, and suddenly I had to find out where that smell was coming from.
I walked into the restaurant close to closing time and didn't want to be a bother, so I asked Luigi what was still available and what their signature item might be. Without hesitation, he smiled and said, “All of it — it’s all good and ready.” And honestly? He wasn’t wrong.
Luigi is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve met. His hospitality was unforgettable — warm, welcoming, and sincerely proud of the food they serve. I had originally planned to get a sandwich, but he pointed out the Black Angus Truffle Pizza, and my jaw dropped. My mouth is watering just thinking about it again.
I ended up ordering the whole pizza (they offer slices and smaller portions too, but I wasn’t playing around). It was hot, fresh, and in front of me in under 10 minutes. Every bite was rich, savory, and packed with flavor — you can tell they care about quality.
The service, the food, the good vibes — everything about this place left a lasting impression. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in town....
Read moreWent here for dinner tonight, and I’m assuming the owners were the ones who took our order. We decided on a pepperoni pizza, a slice of the Carnivora, and a tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious and if that tiramisu had come in a bowl, the bowl would’ve been licked clean!
The owner was very kind and attentive, even bringing my child a small bag of chips to enjoy with her pizza. Later, one of the owners came back to our table and asked if we wanted to try an Italian pizza, I believe with soppressata, and my husband agreed. When I went to pay for it, he told me it was on the house. It was fantastic, and I really hope they add it to the menu so we can order it again next time.
If you head to the restrooms (which are spotless, by the way), you’ll see a little table with paper boats that the owner said his daughter makes. He told us we could take one, and I recommend bringing a bit of change to leave her a tip if you do.
Highly recommend this place we’ll definitely...
Read moreBest focaccia I ever had since I moved from Italy to Texas. As an Italian, the freshness and high quality of the ingredients are something I always recognize and appreciate. I have tried a few different focaccia types, all delicious and authentically made, with my absolute favorite one being the Black Angus. I was explained by the Italian chef, Daniele, that he cooks the angus himself, as well as all other ingredients he uses to cook such as the sauces, the roasted vegetables, the mozzarella and the burrata. If you are looking for a place where you feel like being on a trip to Italy and enjoying real Italian delicious food, Bella Gente would be the perfect choice. The service is great and you would have a chance to chat with the owner, Luigino, who is such a great host, always happy and enthusiastic about sharing his experience as an...
