The Ugly Mug Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Gettysburg

I gave 2 stars instead of none bc their coffee is great and the place has a nice artsy atmosphere. The food however was not good at all. They make what they claimed to be arepas but they indeed were nothing like an arepa. It was like having a tamale with no filling or sauce. They just fried the maize but added nothing to it and it was far thicker then it should be and not fully cooked. The meat tasted like it was bad my husband who literally eats everything threw it all away. Then the Buffalo nachos were literally just square chunks of chicken that had been tossed in some cheap Buffalo sauce. There were a couple jalapeños and some crema on top. Only have been a few times each time I feel out of place not a very welcoming coffee shop as well for the staff they're friendly but vibes are totally off there. Each time I've gotten a venezalano macchiato, a 32 ounce cup of COLD whipped goodness of milk with sweetened espresso now this is a menu specialty and kind of can't be mistaken for something else except for when their staff doesn't Wana listen to the customer just because they aren't wearing a mask sorry we aren't used to the masks being a mandate anymore doesn't mean your staff needs to act like a person is infected. Went to have a nice coffee date with my brother and grandma. The staff was rude to us will we were there. My grandma was trying to switch her glass and the cashier was very rude about her having the mask off her nose so she could change them. The one boy was very rude in telling us they were closing in 10 minutes will we were chatting and proceeded to walk away shaking his head. And as we walked out the door the cashier made a very rude comment towards to the bay as well.
