We sometimes stop by here on our way back home from trips to the Denver metro area. The food is decent and always piping hot, BUT we have only been here 5-10 times over the course of a couple years, and without fail, the staff is not very customer friendly and is sometimes blatantly rude. They seem miserable and annoyed that you came by.
We stopped by yesterday evening after flying into DEN from a trip. The dude on the box was hard to understand because of his thick accent. I’m all for hiring from diverse backgrounds, but it harms the customer experience if the customers can’t understand the staff or vice versa. Also, when I ordered a large meal, when he read back the order, he said it was a small meal. I had to ask him to repeat it to make sure I heard him properly because of his accent, and when I told him that it was supposed to be a large, he sternly scolded me, saying, “You want large? I asked you what size and you told me small.” First, that’s a lie, because I was ordering for my family and ordered my food first and I NEVER get a small meal. Second, even if that were the case, you don’t scold your customers for a minor change like that. That’s why you read the order back in the first place, to make sure it is correct. Not my fault you screwed up the order.
The amounts of times we’ve had a cheery person on the box is maybe once or twice. For a place called Good Times, it is rarely...
Read more2 stars for something so silly. I asked for 5 sauces, guy says okay a couple sauces, I then say I’d like 5 sauces please not just a couple. Tells me he can only give me 2. I say I’m willing to pay for extra sauces, I would like 5. Says okay then rings me up and only gives me 4. Very clearly can’t charge me for sauces as they ring up as 0.00 on his register. I would of been more than happy to pay extra for what I asked for. It’s a silly thing for me to feel frustrated about but why can’t I just pay for the amount that I want? If I order 5 or even 20 sauces somewhere else like Raisin Canes they let me buy what I want. Why not just give people the option to buy more instead of limiting people on what’s already a skimpy amount of sauce per container. I get it’s not his fault that this is how things are done, but I feel it’s just stupid to limit people like this. I’m a saucy guy, I like lots of sauce, and two tiny cups isn’t enough for the amount of fry/burger that you get. Not to mention I had paid for 2 meals. The amount of 2 little cups that he was trying to give me was pathetic compared to the amount of food I was getting. It’s just annoying. And I get that this is a dumb thing to complain about but I used to be able to buy as much as I wanted at 75...
Read moreI am a Good Times fan, and have been to several different locations in the 19 years I have lived in Colorado. However TODAY was the first day I was told "We can't do that" when I asked for a Peanut Butter Malt and I was also told "we can't do that" when I asked for a side of bambino sauce (which I have ordered and received both at other locations MANY times before). He ended up correcting himself and saying "I can do a vanilla malt with peanut butter", to which I graciously accepted. Apparently there is a huge difference between a Vanilla Malt with peanut butter and the peanut butter malt that I asked for??? And while I was at the window waiting, I heard this same person tell the person in the drive thru behind me "We can't do that" to whatever they requested. I am not sure if this new hire (a 20 something year old male) who helped me - but if he is - The Manager of this location really ought to tell this gent to refrain from answering every single request with "We can't do that". It doesn't make for a good experience for the customer. Even if you cannot do something, at least respond with "I can do (fill in the blank) for you, does that sound good?" CUSTOMER SERVICE 101....
