What an absolute gem! Schlotzsky's has completely redefined my expectations for what a deli experience should be. This place is absolutely killing it on every front.

I have been here before and never had an issue, or a problem. However, this time I came with a friend who majorly got screwed over...

So this time, my friend orders a sandwich with Jalapeno Bread, and not cooked. We wait, I get my food, she gets hers, and its Sourdough, and heated. So we get the servers attention and explain that she doesnt like sourdough.... and that the sandwich wasnt supposed to be cooked.... So the server sends it back, another 10 or so minutes goes by, and she gets the sandwhich back with the Jalapeno bread... but its STILL cooked!!! Apparently people cant follow customer orders very well...

So once again it goes to the back, but this time the manager comes out to tell his customers that all of their sandwiches come hot... she says she understands, but she ordered it cold, and she wants it cold... The manager has the audacity to turn around a say that their sandwiches have "a process". She mentions that all she wants is a cold sandwich on something other than sourdough. He says that is a certain process that HAS to be followed... this is the reason I dont eat at Quiznos... although I like warm sandwiches, I hate them toasted, and Quiznos "has" to toast them... So at this point I had to raise my voice and explain that she has paid for a cold sandwhich, at NO point did anyone up to this point say anything about it HAVING to come out hot! Go back and make her a damned cold sandwich... so what happens? 10 minutes later we had a cold sandwhich not on sourdough.......

We miss the Schlotsky's near us that closed years back, and this one is a bit out of the way. But we do enjoy ordering from this location, especially because of the staff. Friendly and helpful. While Schlotsky's is more expensive than it used to be we find the bread to be better than other sandwich joints and the selection to be solid.

This location also serves Cinnabons, which when they're fresh are very delicious. Highly recommend you buy the smaller ones because of the superior ratio of icing and cinnamon to bun. The large size, too much bun and it isn't as tasty as a treat.

Usually get the Fiesta Chicken, and my lady the Turkey Original. Attentive staff, we usually lightly customize our order and haven't had any issues we sometimes do at firehouse with things being missed. Only complaint? Forgot the chips last time. But they gave us like 5 pickle spears so honestly it worked out great for me. And who doesn't make mistakes? The consistency of service with the sandwich orders, and quality of staff make this a favorite quick food joint. Just be careful, parking lot is...
