Absolutely SICK! Not all Starbucks are created/managed equally. I was in for my usual lunch box that includes a banana or fruit bar - I didn't see the fruit bars (will get back to that later) and went for a banana. When I sat down to eat the banana I noticed the head of the banana was MOLDED. This surprisingly didn't upset me as much as what happened next. I went up to the manager (I know she was a manager because she was interviewing someone earlier), told her the banana was MOLDY, asked her for a fruit bar or something else, without making eye contact she said I could only have another banana from "down there", I repeated myself, and she told another employee to get me a "fresh" banana from the back, the employee abided and exchanged the moldy banana for a "fresh" one without blemishes but I noticed the employee put the MOLDY banana in the same carton she took the "fresh" one from. I confronted her about it and again mentioned it was MOLDY and I only hope she took it out. Mind you these are the same bananas they use in your smoothies.
Also, over heard another manager interviewing a candidate and telling them that they "could be mean to customers as long as it was with a smile." That's great because I didn't even get a smile or eye contact. Poorly managed and disgusting. Plus aren't managers suppose to wear the green aprons? Not very professional with or without the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually come to this Starbucks ( galleria 1st floor and I usually donāt have any problems . I was at fault due to getting a coffee that wasnāt mine which I admit it . Iāve never had a problem with the service but today I did have a problem with one of the baristas Iām not sure what her name was Iām probably wrong I think her name was Sophia . Her service was not appropriate telling me she called the name which I did hear her say the name but what I heard it she said the kind of coffee and I thought it was mine . But when she called mine I was confused bcs she called my coffee with my name. So on my end I misunderstood but the same time she had no reason to have an attitude telling me that she said the name multiple times. And the fact she told me to hand her back the one I took. But my concern too is how are you handing a coffee to the right customer without knowing if I drank for it or anything like that. I was a barista and if I faced a situation like that I wouldāve remade the coffee instead of giving a coffee not knowing if the other person drank from it or added additional sugar...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe WORST service ever. Youād think with how busy this location is the employees would be moving but nope. Always talking, wasting time, on their phones laughing. After waiting in line for 20 minutes I finally made my way up to the cashier to put in an order and she didnāt even acknowledge me. Was too busy laughing with the barista over something she had shown her on her cell phone. Mind u this was a weekend. I donāt even like putting in an online order because it takes so long. Take my advice and go to the Starbucks located on floor 2. Way faster/friendlier service. I do have to give credit to the guy in the beard though. Heās always on the move while his co workers are lazy and slow. One of the cashiers even told me she hated her life working there. Smh. This place needs a new staff/new management...
