⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tom’s Lunch Bar is an absolute neighborhood gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, buzzing atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between friendly local hangout and chef-driven café. The staff is incredibly attentive and genuinely enthusiastic—always ready to chat about the daily specials or brew you the perfect cup of coffee. I tried their signature avocado toast and it completely blew me away—creamy ripe avocado smashed to perfection, served on beautifully toasted artisanal bread with just the right hint of spice and citrus. Seriously, the flavors were so fresh and vibrant they might as well have been picked that morning. Their breakfast burrito is another standout: chock-full of farm-fresh eggs, savory bacon, tender potatoes, and melted cheese, all wrapped up in a house-made tortilla. It hit all the right notes—comforting, hearty, and flavor-packed. Tom’s also excels with its rotating seasonal smoothie bowls—bright, colorful, and healthy as heck, ideal for breakfast or a light lunch. And yes, the presentation is Instagram-worthy, but more importantly, each bite tastes as good as it looks. The vibe is relaxed, inclusive, and welcoming whether you’re fueling up for the day, meeting a friend, or working solo with a laptop. Plus, the communal tables create a fun, lively environment. Prices are reasonable for the quality, ambiance, and freshness they deliver. Overall, Tom’s Lunch Bar offers an outstanding blend of top-notch food, friendly service, and inviting ambiance. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a delicious start—or midday refresh—to your day, this place is a must-visit. Highly, highly recommended!

The restaurant has been open for 4 days, so we expected some operational hiccups. When checking in, they ask for a phone number to send advertising texts to even when being seated immediately. Also, the menus don't show pricing for beers or beer sizes. The TVs are convenient as a concept but the lighting was very intense. They eventually dimmed the lights which instantly helped. One person got the spinach & artichoke dip, but she said it tasted like plastic. The manager did happily say she can get something else on the house, but it wasn't relayed to our server. My chicken sandwich immediately fell apart when I picked it up, so I had to eat it with a knife and fork (which didn't work well with a metal basket). Everyone's fries were also undercooked. There were also some servers going around "offering" green tea shots, but they were $9.75 each. It was also a table member's birthday, and they didn't offer anything for his birthday. At the end, our bill took over 10 minutes for 5 employees to figure out. The entire experience was disappointing, but we really do hope that the operations get better and the food improves so they can do well. The best part of the experience was the inflatable Blue mascot in the corner. At the moment, the overpriced food and not great experience aren't worth a return, but we hope to someday return when the value and operations improve. Also, parking is hard to find on weekends since it's downtown.

Restaurant Review: A Memorable First Visit I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for the first time, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed, particularly by the staff. Our bartender, Katie, stood out with her exceptional service. She was not only attentive but also incredibly polite, making sure our drinks were always full and engaging with our group in a way that created a lively and welcoming atmosphere. It was evident that she cared about the guests, as she actively interacted with everyone around us—her efforts truly set the bar high for hospitality. Adding to the positive experience was Mickey, who introduced himself as the manager. He made several rounds to check on us, displaying a level of professionalism that is often hard to find. It's refreshing to see a management style that emphasizes customer engagement and satisfaction. As a restaurant owner myself, I genuinely recognize the value of having dedicated and personable staff like Katie and Mickey. Their approach not only enhances the dining experience but also reflects a well-run establishment focused on its patrons. I would happily welcome either of them into my own team. I look forward to returning and seeing how the rest of the menu and staff live up to this high standard—definitely a place worth visiting again!

Well, being from out of town because of cheer competition, we thought this would be a great place to watch my buffalo bills play in the playoffs. We got there early, finishing the first playoff game, but when it came time to the next game, to my dismay the game was not on. I waited for a little while after the game had already started, then I proceeded to ask the bar tender why the game wasn't on. His response was "what game?" I told him, then he asked "what channel?" IDK, I'm from out of town. So, he said he'll take care of it and then proceeded to continue cleaning his glasses as if it didn't matter. So I then asked to speak with manager because clearly he didn't care. At that time he finally stopped and got help. Then after the game was on, they proceeded to play music the whole time, even though that wasn't how they treated the other game. You could hear the other game commentating. After I complained about that to the DJ, everytime a commercial came on or the game came back on, I got dirty looks from the DJ and everyone at my table noticed. There were other things that happened as well. Overall, the place sucked, except our server Kylie, she did very well and was very attentive. But if your a sports bar, you should know the NFL playoff games and not be petty when you are told to play them. We left early, not spending as much as we would have, and we will never return when we come back to the city again. We went back to our Omni hotel and really and truly enjoyed the rest of the game at their...
