I have a love-hate relationship with this location. The staff is polite, fast and accurate. I typically come here early on the weekends when there are not many people, but the new building is cold and stale both literally and figuratively compared to the old location...yes yes... drive thru, but cmon.. I know they have lost many loyal customers over the move alone. The place is cold. I mean in the winter, sometime unbearable cold. They need a double door out front to limit air movement. There is very limited seating. They need to use the space more efficiently. get rid of those merchandise baskets and shelves in the middle and replace it with seating, reverse the line so orders are taken at the front when you walk in so you dont have a line of people standing right in your lap at those back tables. The parking lot is a disaster to say the least. Good luck finding a spot on a warm day during lunch or dinner with Blaze there as well. There have been a couple times an employee will prop the rear door open for deliveries and with the drive thru wrapping right around you get all the car exhaust coming right in. The music can be too loud at times which forces people to talk over it and add in the general noise the place generates like grinding coffee or the blender and you have to have give a moderate shout to the person sitting next to you for them to hear. I still go hear because I like the staff, but there are some definite changes that could be made to vastly improve...
Read more5 stars for being friendly after the LONG wait. Having been in the business, i can tell you your set up is the reason you can't move your line fast enough. It's not the parking lot's issue. If your order taking speaker was placed at the front of the line you would have more time to make the orders in between the cars. Espresso shots hold up the line and when they're all getting them it's a WAIT. If your orders were placed at the beginning of the line as opposed to right before you get to the window then your staff would have proper time to prepare the drinks that are more complex. Also the kitchen would have time to warm the food when they're given 2 minute heads up as opposed to 30 seconds when they're 2 feet from the cashier window. Try it. Your bottom line WILL be better. Your drive through times...
Read moreHe didn't want me to leave him a review but Starbucks needs to know about the wonderful gentleman there who goes by the name of Koa, I hope i spelled that correctly. He is exactly what customer service should be. Everytime I come through (which is almost daily) I hope he is working the drive thru because he makes my day every time. If you guys ever make a customer service video for new employees please use him in the video. I know how nasty coffee lovers can be, I myself can be quite grumpy when it comes to my coffee needs and he ALWAYS has that big beautiful smile on and ready to serve!!! Please please please give him employee of the month or year. Absolutely best customer service I have seen in YEARS. Thank you Koa for being the best barista ever!!! I look forward to that...
