Poor customer service. I love the chicken biscuits from Chick-Fil-A and I missed breakfast yesterday because I was 2mins late. Today, I decided to call to see if they can possibly put on hold two chicken biscuits because I was running late to get breakfast at that location. The manager Grace told me over the phone no. She wasn’t allowed to hold food. To get the app and place the order. So of course I’m in a rush to do so but by the time I finish downloading the app, entering all my info and then placing an order chick-Fil-A says that they can no longer give me what I want. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!! It was literally 10:29am. So I then rushed inside the mall and I asked to see if they had anything left for breakfast (10:34am) and the “manager” Grace said no. I explained again the situation I was in and she said unfortunately I can not sell breakfast items after 10:30am. Really??! You couldn’t at least check if you had something left for breakfast? No sense of wanting to please a desperate customer who wants a chicken biscuit. Now I have +15yrs working in customer service from Fast-Food, fast casual, and office jobs and never once did I not try to accommodate a customer request. And let me tell you, my request wasn’t a request “out of this world”. I never leave bad reviews for anyone. I like to speak with managers directly to provide my feedback but today I decided to leave this review. I would have left a zero star but the minimum is 1. If I came in 15mins or even 10 mins after breakfast change over I would of understand that my request wasn’t doable. But 4mins after? Really?!? POOR...
Read moreToday, I walked into Chick-fil-A at 30 Mall Drive around 1:25 PM, expecting a smooth, respectful experience, the kind this brand built its reputation on. What I got was the complete opposite.
I ordered two identical meals, same entrée, same sides, and specifically two lemonades. Simple, right?
Instead, they gave me only one full meal and charged the second meal item-by-item, without the drink. That means I paid more for less. And when I calmly pointed it out, instead of correcting their mistake, they told me I’d have to pay extra if I wanted that second lemonade.
Let me repeat that: I ordered two of the same meals. I was overcharged for the second. And they still refused to give me the lemonade that should’ve come with it, unless I paid even more.
All of this followed by the fact that the person at the register struggled to understand basic English, which made the entire process frustrating from the jump. I repeated my order multiple times for clarity and still got penalized for their mistake.
There was no apology, no ownership, no “my pleasure”, just dismissive energy and a clear message: We don’t care if we got it wrong. You’re paying anyway.
This isn’t just about money. It’s about principle. It’s about customer care, communication, and the bare minimum level of professionalism I should be able to expect when I walk into a Chick-fil-A.
I’ve always associated this brand with excellence. But if this is how the Mall Drive location is being run, overcharging customers, refusing to fix their errors, and offering zero accountability, then this location has officially...
Read moreOrdered 12 piece grilled nuggets, after a few minutes of waiting a shift supervisor politely advised it would be 4 more minutes and wanted to be up front about, commenting I could be assure they would be fresh. Continued to wait and observe there were two boxes of smaller 8 size grilled nuggets that had been sitting in warming area. After about 6 minutes, observed cook staff member remove one of the boxes and repackage into 12 piece container indicating to me it was not a “fresh order”. Supervisor then handed me bag and advised she put in a cookie for delay. I couldn’t believe being offered a cookie for such a significant delay and for an order of grilled nuggets. If someone orders grilled rather than breaded nuggets would think it would be occur to the Supervsor that the person has a dietary/gluten issue so a cookie would not be a good idea. . I also advised I saw the nuggets were not fresh and had been repackaged from another container. Why did I wait 9 min when repacking would have been an option immediately as there were two 8 piece boxes? Requested refund which was issued along with an apology. Have Oh sorry I friend who once had to wait several minutes for an order at another location and they were given a gift card for a free item for the inconvenience. If that is company policy/option What’s up I ordered it. I love that company., why as I given a cookie which I could not eat?
This is the only bad experience I’ve had at an Chik-Fil-A and will avoid this...
