Got a Table for the Afc championship, they sold us a table that didn't exist on the floor plan and had us wait for 25 minutes to be seated. They were incredibly understaffed for such a big event and had absolutely zero crowd control measures in place (disaster waiting to happen) had our waitress running more tables than she could handle, she was great but no way she could keep up with the crowd (failure by management). Service was slow all around and bartender I interacted with was rude for no apparent reason, towards the end of the night a big fight broke out, the rumble spilled onto our table and several drinks were knocked over, had we not slid the table out of the way we would have lost a bottle and several glasses. Nobody on the staff checked on us or offered to comp drinks that were lost. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and had no toilet paper by the 2nd half of the game. I understand the challenges of hosting such a big event but capacity is needed and they need to help their employees out by staffing properly and providing crowd control. As much as I love Mcfaddens I'm not sure that I will be back after the experience we had this past Sunday. This establishment absolutely placed profit over the safety of its customers and staff. If you are planning on going here for a big event and value your safety I would not...

Had a recent less than great experience (first and only visit). This place has identity issues - are you a nightclub or sports bar?? We reserved a table here on a football Sunday to watch the games since the word "sports" is in the name. Instead of playing the audio for any games on an early Sunday afternoon, there was loud dance music blaring to where a conversation couldn't be had. Even as the Chiefs game was in pregame, the music didn't stop until the ACTUAL kickoff. We reserved a VIP table, which turned out to be a small cocktail table (for 8 people!) that could hardly hold an appetizer and our drinks. Glad we weren't planning on each ordering a meal! And there was nothing VIP about it, our food and drinks were self ordered at the nearest bar. We were also denied ordering a beer tower as advertised on their website because "every table would then want one" and they don't have enough. To top it all off, tax (14%?!?) + required gratuity (18% added AFTER the astronomical tax instead of prior) + gratuity tax (what?!) all increased our "afternoon out for drinks and football" by 34%. Won't be watching...

We are from our of town and came straight here after the Chiefs game because we heard many great things about it and our sever was HORRIBLE . We sit down and nobody greeted us, mind you they were not that busy, not busy enough to not see us Walk in , and when a sever finally came over she was rushed and gave me a bad vibe. I also asked to watch the Seahawks game and she never even bothered .. When we asked her what kinds of beer they had to offer she hesitantly mumbled and turned around to go grab a drink menu (making us feel like we were bothering her).. we than waited only a few minutes longer and decided to leave because we didn't feel welcomed there .... I have been a server for years and I know good customer service and that isn't what we got .. yes I know we all have our days but when pleasing people is your job you got to slap on a smile and do your job. When and if we ever come back to town I don't think we'll...

As someone who rarely posts negative reviews, it's unfortunate to say this is one of them. My date and I visited McFadden's on a Wednesday night, expecting a relaxed evening with plenty of drinks. The restaurant was virtually empty—perhaps 15 people total, with only five at the bar, including us. There were no major sporting events playing, so our expectations were for prompt, easy service. Instead, we experienced consistently absent service from our bartender, who seemed more interested in her phone than in refilling our drinks. On multiple occasions, our glasses sat empty for at least 20 minutes before we had to wave her down vigorously to get her attention. Despite the almost empty bar, we had to repeatedly flag down staff for service. While this place is undeniably gorgeous, the extremely lax service significantly detracted from our experience.

I had the 🐔 & Bliss. Believe it or not, I have never tried chicken & waffles before. The presentation was amazing. It looked like a contemporary art exhibit. The chicken strips were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Yummy! The 🧇 was perfectly browned and large enough to complement the 🐔. The lemonade was delicious as well. The restaurant was truly capacious with two levels. The tables were equally spaced. There were at least 2 entry and exit points. There were various 📺 screens tuned to sports, of course. My server Destiny was great. She kept the lemonade flowing and inquired about the taste of my meal. She even expressed interest in my hobby and shared a bit about herself. Destiny was kind and perceptive.
