If you're looking for a slice of Paris in the heart of Las Vegas, look no further than the charming new Baguette Cafe! Conveniently nestled downtown, this delightful establishment has quickly become my go-to spot for an unforgettable culinary escape that truly transports you to France.
As soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the inviting ambiance. The chic decor, accented with soft lighting, instantly made me feel as though I had wandered into a quaint bistro along the Seine. It really set the tone for a lovely afternoon filled with French delight.
Now let’s dive into the food – it was simply incredible! I began with a buttery, flaky croissant that was undoubtedly the best I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly golden and oozing with flavor, it practically melted in my mouth! Paired with a rich café au lait, it was the quintessential French breakfast experience.
For my main course, I indulged in the Croque Monsieur, and oh, what a treat it was! The layers of ham and Gruyère cheese sandwiched between perfectly toasted bread, generously drizzled with béchamel sauce, were utter perfection. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor that had my taste buds dancing with joy!
What truly made my experience special, however, was meeting Olivier, the owner of Baguette Cafe. His passion for French cuisine and hospitality shines through in every detail of the café. It was such a pleasure to speak with him and learn about his vision for the restaurant. His warmth and genuine love for serving guests made me feel not just like a customer, but like a welcomed friend.
The service throughout the meal was outstanding! The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure that my experience was nothing short of magical.

We ordered flat white, lavender London fog, veggie quiche, smoked salmon crescent sandwich, chocolate torte, almond pear cheesecake, & chocolate crescent twist. The flat white is a simple drink but makes it easy to taste the quality of their espresso & the ratio was perfection. The lavender London fog had the perfect balance of flavors & sweetness. Every bite of food melted in our mouths. The crescents were light & flaky as they should be & the quiche, y’all the creaminess was heavenly. The chocolate torte is clearly made not only with skill but passion, it decadent in flavor & texture. The almond pear cheesecake was exactly what I had hoped for. I could taste the pear & the almond separately but also together in a way that was just right. The quiche & the crescent sandwich came with a delightful side of beautiful mixed greens salad that was much appreciated as someone who believes in veggies for breakfast.
Now as amazing as the food was I want to take a moment to address how fantastic, warm, & friendly the people were. I spoke to almost every person working at some point & was met with a smile. The owner & chef indulged me in conversation about what they make, how they make it, & their thoughts/beliefs about the quality they aim to provide their customers.
I am planning to return here to try other items & highly recommend this place if you’re anywhere near. If you’re not near, maybe make a trip. I do know they have other locations, I do not know how they are but would consider going to them as well if this visit is any indication of how it would go.

After studying at UNLV to master the business side of his dream, Olivier has created something rare in Las Vegas – an authentic experience that feels as if it’s been transported straight from Paris.
The food here is fresh, flavorful, and full of color – the way it should be. From buttery, flaky croissants and rich cortados to vibrant avocado toast, fruit bowls, quiche, and lattes, every bite is crafted with love and respect for his family’s recipes. Our table could only say one word: “Parfait.”
What makes this café even more special is Olivier himself – a genuine, passionate man who honors his roots, his family, and his craft. Eating here feels like being welcomed into a piece of his story.
