What can I see about my birthday weekend? It was spectacular. I spent my weekend at the Strat in Las Vegas within the Strat. I had a complementary birthday dinner just for me and My. Guess which happened to be both my sons who are part of the family business as well as my business partner we attended McCalls Heartland Grill right inside the strip Hotel and casino. Listen the staff was wonderful. the ambience was amazing the food it was good to see what I do is I give a honest opinion in my opinion means something especially being a guide here on Google so here’s my opinion about McCall’s heartland Grill I can’t speak for what my guest had but as far as what I had.
I had a nice ribeye steak bone in with a loaded baked potato, and I had them to add a side of lump crab to that baked potato, which was great. I am. I told them they had the name this particular dish the loaded Lump crab baked potato by Mr Cooper that’s what I had the steak and I also had a lobster tail. It was a 4 ounce lobster tail ordered the steak medium well once it came it was great. The steak tasted fine. It could’ve been a little more seasoned the lobster tail. I had to take back because it was steamed, but it didn’t taste right so they took it back and then I asked them to put it in the broiler so when they made a new one and they bought out another one and it was OK as far as the lobster tail, it was so small you know so I give that a 3 out of 10, the steak I give a 7 out of 10, but as far as the loaded baked potato, it comes with all of the things you would think a loaded baked potato comes with kibes butter, sour cream, bacon, bits that works, but when you add a side of lump crab meat, you get the Mr Cooper loaded lump baked potato 10 out of 10 for sure. The other things that I can say about it with their dinner rolls, their dinner rolls are super. They’re the best thing on the menu the dinner rolls get a 10 out of 10 we were topped off with great dessert Where they spelled my name wrong but the dessert was great. Nonetheless, I had A slice of chocolate cake you’ll see in the photos. It takes as good as it looks, but all in all it was a great way to spend my birthday. It was a great way to spend it with my sons and my business partner and celebrate the wins and celebrate the reasons why we were out there. If you’re ever visiting Las Vegas make sure you stay at the Strat and also make sure that you attend McCalls Heartland Grill all in all I give McCalls a eight out of 10, Mr Cooper certified
I’d like to take this time to point out that the staff was wonderful and those who I’d like to think are as follows Salem, Richard, and Don who went above and beyond to make my dinner a success also special thanks to Ally Noback with Wicked Creative for her communication and efficiency throughout this entire experience.

Read moreDear McCall's Heartland Grill Management,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the lack of accommodation provided during my recent visit to your restaurant. As a customer with a pork allergy, I was hoping to enjoy your barbecue platter, but was dismayed to find that the restaurant was unwilling to make any substitutions or adjustments to the menu item. When I politely requested that the pork be removed from the platter or that it be replaced entirely with beef, I was told that the restaurant could not accommodate my request. This was extremely frustrating, as I have never encountered such rigidity at other dining establishments when it comes to addressing food allergies and dietary restrictions. To make matters worse, I had specifically come to your restaurant based on the menu information I found online, which included an item called "Burnt Ends" that I was eager to try. However, upon arriving, I was informed that this item was no longer available, and the online menu had not been updated to reflect this change. This felt like a bait-and-switch, as I had made the trip to your establishment with the expectation of enjoying a particular dish that was advertised but ultimately unavailable. To add on the host was sweet and attentive. Servers kept asking me if everything was okay. The margaritas needed work, and the calamari was deliciously made. But food allergies can be a serious health concern, and it is important that restaurants make every effort to ensure the safety and satisfaction of their customers. By refusing to make even a simple modification to the barbecue platter, and by failing to keep their online menu accurate and up-to-date, your restaurant failed to provide me with a safe and enjoyable dining experience.I would hope that in the future, McCall's Heartland Grill would be more flexible and willing to work with customers who have special dietary needs. A little accommodation can go a long way in ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. Additionally, I would expect the restaurant to maintain accurate and current menu information across all platforms to avoid disappointing customers who make dining decisions based on the advertised offerings.I would appreciate a response detailing how your restaurant plans to address these issues and improve its policies regarding food allergies, dietary restrictions, and menu transparency. Customer satisfaction should be a top priority, and I hope that my feedback will be taken into consideration.
Thank you for your time and attention to this...
Read moreWe honestly had higher hopes for this place, but after experiencing it, I'm surprised at how high the Google rating is. We stayed at the hotel (unfortunately) and gave us a key holder that contained discounts or information. One item gave 20$ off of 40$+ at McCalls. However, the fine print says to let your server know right away. After we let him know, we saw him once more during our meal to fill up our water one time. The busboy became our server. I thought that was who our server was. We ordered waters and a diet Pepsi. We got our waters and ordered. 20 minutes later a diet Pepsi appeared. My husband said, that took a while, I replied, I forgot I ordered it. I never received a refill on my drink. I ordered the chicken piccatta. My mistake, it was reddish surprisingly and the sauce or seasoning they used for it made it taste terrible. I didn't even eat the chicken. My husband ordered prime rib, and I tasted it, it was not worth the money (45$). I either eat my entire plate or take it home. We had a fridge in our hotel room and I left my meal on the table. Upon checkout the busboy came by, I asked for a box for my husbands and daughters plate and gave him our card. My mistake! He came back with the card and processed bill. I looked it over and realized he didn't take off the 20$. I couldn't say anything to our "waiter or busboy" because it seemed like they were done with us. Wouldn't even pass near our table. I ended up talking to someone else who happened to be the manager and he took care of it right away. He processed the correct amount and said two charges would show up but the first one should drop off by the night or tomorrow. The waiter came out with him apologizing. I didn't even know he was our waiter.
My advice, don't give them the coupon until the end. There is no reason you should be obligated to give it to them ahead. Otherwise expect horrible service. And horrible food. Maybe this place is better without having a coupon, but it's way too over priced for the service they offer and the food they dish.
Better food and service at...
