My S/O and I decided to stop and dine in for lunch at Anna's on 11/18/24... I ordered the Fillet of Sole Combo with fries and he had Orange Roughy & Shrimp.. My food was unseasoned and taste slightly weird.. He also stated his food wasn't seasoned well, he's visited Anna's before but there was a difference. While dining in, I digested 2pcs of fish and a few fries.. We packed up the rest of our food and left By 3pm, I was vomiting, and this was my only meal for the day. By the time my stomach emptied, I started vomiting bile and with a bluish substance. I shouldn't be vomiting ANYTHING BLUE .. BLUE VOMIT ON A EMPTY STOMACH INDICATES "POISONING" BY BORIC ACID, COPPER SULFATE, and PARAQUAT POISONING.. All day and night, I've been vomiting, with stomach aches & pains, with diarrhea.

My S/O woke up with diarrhea.. And he isn't feeling well..

I don't think we'll EVER RETURN to ANNA'S..

I will be going to the ER to have my blood looked at, and if these allegations are true for Boric Acid, Copper, or Paraquat Poisoning, I will have my lawyers reach out to Anna's & will proceed with the necessary legal procedures

Thanks for serving me flavorless food and making my Friday night / Saturday Morning...

Saturday I went to Anna's for the first time, and I ordered the fish basket special with choice of catfish at $1.25 extra for catfish. While paying I saw tip suggestions and simply asked if I have to come to you to order the tip suggestion so the young lady cut me off and said that you can skip it, and I Said no because I'm going to tip and I left a 15%. So I sat and ate the fish and shrimp. However I noticed that the catfish didn't taste fresh. About 4 hours later started feeling a little queezy and nauseated then vomitting. I had food poisoning which lasted 3 days. The crazy part is I called Anna's and I recognize her voice when she answered the phone, I started talking and she remembered me from Saturday because she said that I sounded mad when asking about the tip, she said that out loud to me on my phone. It amazes me that when you're black and ask a question in your normal voice people think you're mad. STOP IT! However that doesn't give you the right to jeopardize another human beings health, by serving bad seafood. #Vietnamese owned...

Surf 'n Turf

This review is only about the Surf n Turf sandwich, if you get anything outside of this godly sandwich and had a 1-4 star experience, eff you...I told you so.

Bite, chew, wait...indulge. Bite, chew, wait...indulge. Repeat.

It looks so simple, there's a layer of something beige-ish, mashed with some green, a couple bands of something red-ish and something yellow oozing from the sides and in the middle there's something with a brown crust with white-ish filling...so simple...how can it be good...?

Well let me tell you this panko breaded Alaskan cod raised by Poseidon himself gave its life just for you, yes...you. Add on a couple layers of the perfect crispy bacon, lettuce, pickles tomato and bind all of that together with melted all American cheese and you have the most perfect bite of warm, soft, crispy, crunchy all-at-once sandwich. It's all in the bun, never overlook a King's Hawaiian...

Yuck. Right idea, wrong delivery. Surf & Turf sandwich (I forgot to ask for it without bacon, so was able to taste it ... too thick). The oil that the cod was fried in didn't taste good (I think they don't know peanut oil is preferred for American fish frying.) The "cheese" was the plastic melty type, not real cheese. The double slices of Roma tomatoes and two pieces of baby butter lettuce were good, so was the sauce. But the giant slab of fried fish on giant buns created just a vulgarly huge (unnecessarily huge) sandwich. Took two hands to hold it. And the cole slaw was kimchee sauced, not classic southern style. Gross. The overall experience was Big Guy Food for Dudes Who Don't Care About Food, Really. All this, for $17.00 (you heard me). Service was nice, place was clean. I need a bath after that lunch. Not going back.

Not bad, it was definitely fresh and fast which is perfect for a quick lunch. I got the salmon poke bowl which was topped with a heaping amount of fresh salmon that was buttery and delicious. This was over their white rice and had some cucumbers in the bowl as topping. They had a little container of sauce on the side. Overall it was really quick and good. The only complaint is that their rice is kind of hard and didn't pair as well with the lovely fish but it was still really tasty. They have a good amount of tables and it was really clean in there. Would recommend if you're in the area looking for poke. They also have fish tacos, burritos, soups and salads as well.

More rice, small fish and little vegetables. I ordered a Anna's Poke Bowl. It came in in a simple paper box. Inside the box or Bowl, there were 70 % of rice, 20 % of fresh water fish, and 10 % of burned or overgrilled vegetables. It will cost you almost 18 dollars for such an under portion food or serving. The vegetable and the rice were tasteless, so I had to use the sauce on the fish to rub on the rice to make it tasty. The only good thing about this restaurant is that, it is facing the street and rather open and bright. You can enjoy the street view and people watching more than enjoying the food. I don't think that I will come back here again.
