Always love a good Irish bar! If they could hire some quality DJs however, this place would be a hit! For a Saturday night the DJs were not playing anything that would draw in a crowd, nor was it anything you could actually dance to. Other than that I love this Irish Pub.
Ambiance: 10/10 Dim but not dark, outside area gets dark after the sun sets, perfect date night or girls/guys night out. Had a really neat, rustic chalk board for the menu as well as a QR code available. There were two pool tables and I was elated to find out they were free! It wasn’t packed and no one was waiting for the table so we got to play a few rounds. I love that this place is down a flight of brick stairs and has a basement type feel. As soon as you walk down you’re greeted by a small but open dance floor to your right, and a ping pong table to your left. A few areas to sit outside, but mainly indoor seating. The bar was huge so it was great to have lots of seating options available were all the good stuff is at!
Service: 8/10 Bartenders were friendly and polite, but honestly it didn’t seem like they knew how to handle a moderate sized crowd. Would hate to see how they handle a rush or have it be packed out. The part that got me the most was I ordered a third round of drinks and the bartender who was taking care of me was busy so another one came over and took my order. I gave her the name on the tab and walked back over to my table. On the way she chased me down and said that name wasn’t on file. It was kind of embarrassing the way she came after me and stated matter of factly that I gave her the wrong name. I politely asked her to recheck and gave her the full name again and come back if she’s still having issues. She left and never returned so maybe she misheard me the first time.
We didn’t order food since we ate here and there along grand before stopping by and just grabbed a few drinks, so I have no food eating. But I can say the bar appears fully stocked and they had a few wine options. I only wish they had more on tap options.
We had a great time and if I’m ever in the area I would definitely love to come back here and try this...

So on September 2nd tuesday night shift. So I arrive around 8 PM with a friend of mine and we both ask the bartender for green tea shots and he says that he doesn’t It. And I ask, what does he mean by you don’t have it and he says we don’t have the Stuff to make it. And he was also being Completely rude in the process. We just assumed it’s a Tuesday so they don’t have the ingredients for green tea shots and we order a Guinness and a wine comes out to be $28. Also, my friend asked her a Cabernet and he immediately said we don’t have that without looking and said we do have Pinot but who knows maybe he just made that up. Keep in mind, she and I are Mexican.
Then another White friend of mine arrives and she goes up to the bar alone and ask for a green tea shot (it’s our friend groups fave drink from caseys) also and he goes “ I’m gonna check in the back if we have it” WHICH HE DID NOT CHECK FOR US. Then he comes back to her and says we don’t have the exact ingredients to make it, but I can make you something very similar. And when she asked how much it cost, he goes around $7 And then he checks the menu and he goes “ Oh actually, it’s a bit more than that, but I can give it to you at seven”
Keep In mind that both of my friends areboth very attractive, pretty girls except one was Mexican and one was not, and the one that was not was treated entirely better and given completely better service and a discount. she even said that he wasn't rude to her.
He also claimed that it cost eight dollars an hour to play pool to which my friend replied. Oh, I’ve never been charged to play pool here that’s weird. He was the only one working the bar so no one else Could’ve served me besides him, hopefully Casey’s Does something about their blatant racist, bartender So he’s just making up his own rules and charging his own prices as he deemed fair to whatever Appearance and race the customer may have. I used to think this is one of the best bars in downtown but clearly it’s not anymore. Please reply to this once you...
Read moreOn our last night in Downtown LA, we decided to stop at a spot we had passed several times while walking to and from our hotel. From the outside, it had an inviting charm, with glowing lights and music spilling onto the street. Inside, the atmosphere was lively, featuring a pool table, karaoke, and a series of connecting rooms that added to its unique character.
We grabbed seats at the bar and were welcomed as if we were longtime regulars. A big shoutout to Marine and Valeria for their warm hospitality and attentive service—it truly made our visit special.
The music playlist was a nostalgic mix of classic pop hits, which we thoroughly enjoyed. That said, between the music and the lively conversations around us, the volume was a bit overwhelming for my sensitive ears. But that’s just me—everyone else seemed to be having an amazing time!
Now, onto the food—absolute perfection! 10/10! My husband ordered the Casey’s Burger, while I went for the ribeye with fries. Let me tell you, this was hands down one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. And as you can see in the picture, it was huge! I couldn’t finish it all, and I’m still mourning that fact.
Would we go back? Absolutely! 💯...
