Juice Crafters — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place is really quaint, but with a rustic feel. They offer a great fresh juice menu, and well as ready-made cold-pressed juices. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable.

I ran into here when I landed in LA, because I felt a sniffle on the plane, and I rarely get sick. I took a spicy lemon juice shot, and tried their Green #3 cold-pressed bottle. Although I was too late in my efforts, and my cold overtook me, I went back the next day for another shot, and had them whip me up a fresh juice blend. I also ordered a fruit bowl that had strawberries, acai, bananas and coconut, and I wish I could tell you how it tasted, but I was stuffed up too bad. But I will tell you that it looked delicious!

The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately this was not what I expected. I have very strict dietary needs and I called ahead to ask about the ingredients of the base for the acai Bowl. I was told it was just acai & banana mixed together. I asked again and was told it was just acai and banana. I got there and paid for my bowl. The employee took out some acai sorbet and by the time she started mixing it with the banana, I read the ingredients and found out it had a bunch of stuff I couldn't eat. Easily one of my favourite juice bars downtown. Better value than most... Prices are pretty reasonable when compared to some of the more well known bars on Melrose and the little touches are nice... Your immunity shot comes with a strawberry to offset the spice.
