I’ve lived in the heart of DTLA 2yrs and this is the best ice cream spot. I’ve tried them all. Best ice cream AND best price. Favorite flavor is the Cookie Monster (and I get a brownie sundae) but close backups are the Ube and Thai Tea. The Thai Tea actually has a lot of caffeine.

Pros: Best ice cream best price. Good location and hours. Good staff. Wait isn’t bad. Open super late every day.

Cons: They accidentally gave me 2 Cookies & Cream brownie sundaes instead of 2 Cookie Monster brownie sundaes on a carry out order. I didn’t check it til I got home. It was right before close so I could t bring it back . The Cookies & Cream is objectively not good imo (but to each their own). I’m a regular and always get the same order so hopefully they’ll replace it when I go in tonight. I’ll lyk how it goes!

Love this spot. Previously home to another ice cream shop, 28 Wishes blows them away. Made a quick stop about a month ago on a whim and ice cream craving, only to be blown away myself and happily impressed with the selection. There are vegan options available for all types, but what sets them apart are all the creative flavors and combinations. You can taste the depth and creativity the team has dedicated to their craft.
