I would give them MINUS 5 stars. Check out the reviews first! Such a terrible place! Our waiter was a young inexperienced boy. When we just came he was by our table 3 minutes later asking if we decided what to order. Why would you ask right after the clients came and didn’t have a chance to see the menu? We placed an order for cocktails, mozzarella sticks and hookah. When the waiter brought the watery cocktails, we wanted to ask how long will it take to fry the sticks, he left saying “let me bring the hookah first”. This is so impolite to interrupt and run away. He should have brought the cutlery before serving food. So we asked to confirm they were cooking the appetizer and added pasta to our order. They cooked these pitiable sticks for half an hour. Then he served pasta and we waited for the cutlery. There is no point to say that the food was of law quality. It’s a night club, not a restaurant. You shouldn’t expect it to be delicious. So the food had a “meh” taste. The most interesting part started when we asked for a bill and gave 2 cards to split the order. What could happen you might wonder? They returned only 1 card. They LOST the other one!!! What?!?!? When your flight was few hours later that evening and you didn’t have all your money. ?!?!? 20 minutes later they finally found it. We left the club. This waiter ran after us because they didn’t charge the cards?!?!? What did you do with them for so long????? You didn’t have time to charge it but you were able to lose it....... why did you return it all afterwards? To sum up, the price we paid for the “outstanding” service, food and drinks was the cherry on the cake. We spent $170 on 3 cocktails in plastics, 1 pasta with shells, mozzarella sticks and regular hookah. It is super overpriced and unreasonable. Such an awful experience. I would never-ever suggest anyone going there. Just stay away from this place. Save your money and time for something worth it! You pay and expect to spend good time, but all you get is this miserable and appalling experience... I should have read the reviews before...
Read moreI recently visited Voodoo in Miami, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived at the rooftop, it felt like we were an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. The servers upstairs acted like they didn’t want to assist us at all. When we asked to be seated, we were met with indifference and were told, “The host isn’t up here.” No one made an effort to help locate the host or even suggest what we should do next. It felt like they simply didn’t care.
After standing around awkwardly, we decided to seat ourselves. Even then, it took what felt like forever for someone to finally come over and take our order. Thankfully, our server Melanie was polite and accommodating once she arrived—she was the only bright spot in the entire experience.
However, the issues didn’t stop there. One of my friends ordered a Moscow Mule, which she drinks regularly, and what she received was absolutely not a Moscow Mule. It tasted completely off, like some random mix with zero resemblance to what she asked for.
To make matters worse, my hookah order took over 40 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, it was brought out incorrectly. For a place that markets itself as a rooftop lounge experience, the lack of organization, attention to detail, and overall professionalism was shocking.
Miami is full of amazing rooftop lounges and bars with great service and vibes—Voodoo is not one of them. Save your money, time, and energy and go literally...
Read moreI really wanted to enjoy my night out at Voodoo, but this experience was beyond disappointing — especially for a spot that used to have a solid reputation. Let me start by saying I take hookah seriously, and what I was served was unacceptable.
The hookah hose was absolutely disgusting — sticky, worn out, and clearly not cleaned between guests. I had to ask for a disposable hose, which should’ve been the standard from the beginning. Even after switching, the quality didn’t improve much. The smoke was minimal, barely any clouds, and they gave so little coal that the session didn’t even get going properly. It felt like they threw something together just to get a sale, not to actually deliver a proper hookah experience.
Then comes the service — or lack thereof. We were barely acknowledged after being seated. No one checked on us, no one asked if we needed anything, and I felt like an afterthought in a place that was maybe trying to coast on past hype. This place used to be good, but it’s clearly gone downhill. Fast.
To make matters worse, I ordered a margarita that literally looked and tasted like water. No flavor, barely any alcohol, just sad and watered down. And for this lackluster experience, I still paid the full bill — $108.36. I didn’t complain right away because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but honestly, within the first 30 minutes, it was clear that this place has turned into a...
