Title: Disappointing Experience at Dumpling Me Amor
As a family, we were excited to try out Dumpling Me Amor in downtown, especially after hearing rave reviews about their dumplings. However, our experience fell far short of expectations.
Firstly, upon entering the restaurant, we were hit with sweltering heat. The temperature inside was uncomfortably high, making it difficult to enjoy the dining experience. It was disheartening to see the staff working tirelessly in such conditions, and I couldn't help but feel for them.
To add to our disappointment, the service was incredibly slow. Despite being the only customers at the time, it took an excruciatingly long time for our food to be served. This was particularly frustrating considering we had driven for an hour to dine here, and we had brought our son along to experience the spot.
Although the food eventually arrived, the quality did not make up for the wait or the discomfort of the heat. While the food was decent, they did not live up to the hype we had heard about. Maybe the heat had something to do with it.
Overall, our visit to Dumpling Me Amor left us feeling disappointed and frustrated. The combination of the oppressive heat and the slow service overshadowed any enjoyment we might have had from the food. Sadly, we won't be returning...

Read moreI arrived with my sister and I must say it's small, the 2 tables they had were occupied so we sat at the bar. Waited a few and the nice waiter helped us, We decided to start with the cucumbers, pork dumplings and spring rolls. I've never seen a mandarin sauce but it wasn't bad. For our main I got the crab fried rice and my sister opted for the fried chicken plate(don't remember the name), I absolutely loved mine it was delicious and you tasted the crab. My sister however didn't like hers, she said the sauce on her chicken was overwhelming and not appetizing to her. On a whim we also ordered the pork belly and the crisp on the skin was great however it had a licorice flavor I personally don't appreciate and the guy making our food said it's probably the Chinese 5 spice(anise). All in all it was good, just be prepared to come out smelling of what you ate because it...
