If you're looking for a cozy spot in downtown Miami that feels like a little slice of heaven, Vanilla Cafe is it! From the moment we walked in, we were charmed by the super cute, warm ambiance -- it's the perfect blend of modern and inviting.
The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Anna (Anastasia) crafted one of the best flat white lattes I've ever had -- seriously heavenly. Diana surprised us with her sweet energy and even threw in a few Punjabi greetings, which absolutely made our day!
Now for the food: We ordered the Creamy Fish Omelette -- a tender omelet packed with creamy avocado, rich cream cheese, and paired perfectly with a fresh green salad and lightly salted salmon. Every bite felt indulgent but balanced. We also tried the Mediterranean Sun Shakshuka, a beautiful, flavorful dish made with free-range eggs, a vibrant ragout of cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, garlic, and served with their homemade bread. It tasted like a sunny morning on the Mediterranean coast.
For our little ones, the Chocolate French Toast with Nutella was nothing short of divine -- according to them, it was "the best thing ever!"
Between the incredible food, the heartwarming service, and the dreamy drinks, Vanilla Cafe has earned a special spot in our hearts. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend if you're downtown and want to...
Read moreWhile the food is tasty and the atmosphere/vibe of this cafe is inviting, their customer service is quite the opposite.
I came here the other day with my friend for the first time and we were super excited to try something new. We noticed they offer Blue and Pink Matcha on their menu, and after asking the cashier for her opinion, we decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, my friend and I were not fans of the drinks as they lacked flavor all around.
I politely go back to the register, and nicely ask the cashier for a possible exchange on our drinks since we were not satisfied. The cashier gives me a dead look and says “you will have to wait.” I understand she was helping other guests in line, and I didn’t mind waiting, but there are better ways to respond to your customers.
Shortly after, I get the opportunity to ask for a regular classic Matcha as that has never disappointed me or my friend.
Then, the barista gives me the dirtiest look and says “it will take about 15 minutes.” I still smile back and politely respond, “ok :)” Always kill ‘em with kindness.
We finally get our classic Matchas, only to be disappointed AGAIN. I don’t know about their other drinks, but their Matchas specifically, are TASTELESS. We’ve never had such bad Matcha before, and their horrible customer service made it THAT much worse. So not worth the...
Read moreOK, this is going to be one of those confession/long. Reviews. So if you don't care to hear a small story then you might wanna scroll to the next person. I was suppose to go out and find some type of dessert for my family. Something really quick and cheap. When I was staying in a hotel around the corner from this shop? I passed by stopping. It looked really good so I decided to get 6 macaroons and then I also got a slice of their lemon cheesecake. The problem is when I got back to my hotel I. Decided to go ahead and taste one of the American rooms before I went back and got into the hotel room to let my family know. And to tell you the honest truth, it was so good that I ate all the macaroons in the lobby, then I was so satisfiable with the taste of the man rooms. I also decided to indulge in the cheesecake and yes, if you're thinking what I'm thinking I did absolutely. I ate all the macaroons, and I ate the whole cheesecake and I never told my family. This place right here is dope. I give them 5 stars their services. Good. It didn't take too long and I went back by and I. Also told him in person that the food was great. It reminded me of this pastry shop in Paris called Sinyea(might have misspelled). I know it's not the same but they got real good quality,...
