Our visit to Deer Camp MKE | Camp Bar was just okay. Weāre not big drinkers, and unfortunately, they didnāt have the non-alcoholic beer selection that many places seem to offer these days. We ordered two pretzels, but the cheese came in a prepackaged plastic cup, which felt like a missed opportunity to elevate their food options and show more care in their menu.
The overall vibe leaned heavily toward a binge-drinking atmosphere, likely appealing more to the college crowd. It wasnāt quite the relaxed, chill environment we were hoping for. That said, the atmosphere was festive, and they do an amazing job with holiday decorationsāitās clear they put effort into creating a lively and fun seasonal setting.
One thing Iāve always appreciated about their locations is the free popcornāitās a small touch thatās always nice to see and enjoy.
