My husband and 2 other friends decided to visit Luke’s bar as we are huge fans. Wasn’t expecting it to be so crowded but we waited the hour to get our table. With it being busy I figured it would take a little longer for someone to come over but our WONDERFUL server (Lindsey) with her hands filled with dishes and menus (clearly busy!) stopped by and greeted us with the biggest smile and told us to get all comfortable and look over the menu and that she would be back. So we did just that! She came back with waters (extra points because we didn’t even ask) and took our drink order and appetizers. That girl didn’t stop for one second! Zooming around making sure everyone was taken care of. After getting our appetizers we ordered our entrees. 30 min past by so we asked our server if everything was ok and she said yes it’s just busy and it will be out very soon and that she would personally go check (found out the kitchen is downstairs! Yikes!) but she came back and said it’s coming! About 7 min later we got our food. Sadly it was not hot but we were super hungry after drinking and waiting so long so we tried to eat what we could. We told our server and you could tell she really cared about making us happy and fixing anything she could. We let her know that we knew it wasn’t her fault and that we saw by this point of our visit that she was taking tables ALL around the floor (pretty impressive!) and with my husband owning his own business I felt it would be best to just speak to a manager about this. She said she understood and was so nice and went and got her manager, which in fact was the general manager! Chris was a fine gentleman that also cared about making it right and making us happy. Which he did! It was a nice talk with him and I’m pleased to say that even though we waited so long and the food was cold, that because of these 2 people, our experience was phenomenal!! Chris gave us another round of drinks on the house and took our food off of our bill. I was shocked at how well they both handled this situation. I want to stress that during all of this our server Lindsey was the sweetest person to us all while going non stop to please everyone else. Luke, you are very lucky to have those 2 at your establishment!! We do plan on coming back next time we are in town and hope to see both then. The food tasted great too, just cold. Still a...

Went with a group of co-workers for dinner while in town for a conference.

When you walk in you are greeted by a music stage. Very loud music. It is like most of the restaurant/bars on Broadway. Honesty music was so loud that it kind of killed the experience for dinner. We were constantly shouting to just talk with each other or our server. Our dinner reservation was at 6:30 PM.

We didn't see any signage and no one greeted us when we first came in. We tried talking to a staff person but I believe they were there for only the music tech and didn't help us. Finally after wandering I found the host stand on the second floor. The restaurant was half full. We sat instantly.

The server was quick. Took our order. They were out of some of the appetizers so we switched to wings and brussel sprouts. Wings were great. They were a dry rub. The brussel sprouts were a lot. Very flavorful but honestly a little salty. With the combination of bacon and Parmesan just was a little too much.

The drinks were good. We got a variety of mixed drinks, beers and more. I got the southern and slow. It was good. It was annoying near the bottom of the drink because of the mint leaves. But if you've had a mojito you are probably familiar with the issue.

The main course came out less than 3 minutes after our apps. We didn't have enough time to finish eating and it was out. Honestly poor timing and it made us feel rushed.

My boss's Elk Burger was room temperature when it arrived

I did enjoy the chicken and waffles. The chicken was broken up and fried individually making it really easy to eat. The waffle was fine. There was bacon under the chicken. Definitely not something to get if you are watching your fat intake.

We didn't stay for dessert.

Honestly I wouldn't come back here for food. If you want loud music and drinks. Then by all means come here. But it really wasn't an enjoyable experience for dinner. But honestly most of the bars with food are all going to be a similar experience especially if they...

We visited Nashville for the first time this weekend. We went to your bar around 8 30 pm with another couple and went to the second floor. There was no one waiting on a table and there were six tables clean and open. We had already purchased beers at the downstairs bar. We sat at one of the open tables. About three minutes later we were approached by a young woman named Anna. She very rudely said y’all can’t sit here. We questioned why. She said we stop seating at 9:45. It was around 8:35 when she approached us.

I asked to speak to a manager because this did not make any sense. We were starving and just wanted to enjoy music and have something to eat. A manager came over we told him what our experience had been with her. He took us to a different table about ten feet away and said don’t worry I have you.

Anna then passed the new table the manager set us at and gave us a very dirty look and shook her head. We could not believe what happened next. The manager who had set us approached the table and said his operations manager told him we had to leave because Anna said we had cussed at her. We are all in our sixties, never said anything other than we wanted to see a manager. I asked the manager to give me a written statement of what she said we said and he said no yall got to go. Pushed us towards the stairs with a couple other bouncers/security people and almost pushed us down the stairs.

Wow, Anna and the manager should be fired immediately and I plan on taking this up with the Nashville Better Business Bureau. When we reached the street level there was a group of young people very diverse and they said they also got thrown out because they too were just trying to get food.

Extremely disappointing and hopefully you will take the correct action. Please do make sure that all owners including Luke sees this email. One further note, your bar was the only one that didn’t have a line wrapped around the block. Something you all...
