Extremely disappointing experience. We made a reservation for a VIP table and called ahead to confirm everything. We spoke with two different employees who both assured us we were all set. They gave very specific instructions: park in the garage, look for a door that looks like an employee entrance, and come in through the back so we could avoid the bad weather. We were told, “You’re doing VIP and have a table—we’ll take care of you. No need to go outside.”
We drove 1.5 hours one way through heavy rain, thunder, and lightning. When we arrived, a nearby concert had just ended, and the garage was temporarily closed. As we were told, it reopened once the crowd cleared, so we circled a bit, got in, and followed the exact instructions to the back entrance.
But once we got there, we were told we couldn’t come in that way—we had to go around to the front. We asked for a manager, and she told us that the employees who gave us those directions were wrong, and that “we would never do that.” She said they can’t allow people in through the back, and that was that.
Here’s the thing: it’s okay if that’s the policy. But, two different employees, told us we could come in that way, and gave us detailed instructions. We based our entire plan around that. Being told "they were wrong" doesn’t undo the fact that we drove over 3 hours round trip, in severe weather, and were told no room at the moment for us at the door despite having a reservation and doing everything we were told.
The manager also said the venue was at capacity and, even if we went to the front, we’d have to wait in the rain and might get in—but they were only open for another 1.5 hours, so there was no point.
We ended up driving all the way home, completely let down. If VIP reservations don’t guarantee entry—and if policies like entrances and access depend on capacity—guests should be told that up front, not reassured with false confidence and misleading instructions. This was a total waste of our time and a night we were really...
Read moreYIKES - this felt like such a stereotypical experience type of bar that people avoid because of rude/stuck up bartenders and poor service. There is a clear type of experience they want to portray but the delivery is below the bar. Prepare to spend a bunch of money on overly iced drinks that are barely a proper pour of liquor IF you can get your hands on one.
Waiting outside was hella long and people were pushing through with reservations, understandably and the staff outside were so kind and honest about it. No issues but be mindful for weather for long wait times.
The bartenders - ooohweee were they stuck up, their attitudes toward paying customers and lack of awareness of who was next in line was next level unacceptable.
We asked about drinks to be made was scoffed at and or looked at like we were ridiculous for not knowing they only had imported beer only. Other guest trying to order on our behalf for being blatantly avoided and patiently waiting 15 min for a drink when you’re standing right in front of the bartender.
Out of our group of 15 only one person was successful in ordering drinks for everyone and spent most of the night waiting to get them. They did not call for last call and refused to serve shortly after 1am but apparently not all the staff had the memo as different people were given shots and beers all around us when other side was refused.
The only niceness received was when the bill was handed over to sign the tip slip with a smile.
DJ was okay.

Read moreThere is no better 1-2 punch in Nashville than starting your night at The Twelve Thirty Club and finishing it off underground at Pushing Daisies. Hands down, this is the exact move if you’re looking for the perfect night out.
Start upstairs at 12/30 — the vibes are upscale but never stuffy. The spicy margaritas there are A-1, and let me just say, Nicole the GM is that girl. We rolled in with a massive crew, totally last minute, and she still made magic happen. Tables? Handled. Service? Seamless. Music and ambiance? On point.
Then, just when you think the night is peaking, head over to Pushing Daisies. It’s a whole other world once you’re down those stairs. If you haven’t had their espresso martini, cancel your next plans and fix that. Legit one of the best I’ve had.
Jenn the GM deserves all her flowers too — another last-minute big group and she didn’t flinch. It felt like we had the entire bar looking after us without missing a beat. The staff was fun, the menu was 🔥 (highly recommend the new pineapple chili margarita twist), and honestly? You just feel like you’re exactly where you’re...
