It was good, but too expensive for what you get. It’s a hotel restaurant so it’s not unheard of to have expensive options, like this but it isn’t a place a local would visit, even though they do validate for parking. The food was pretty to look at, the waitstaff was phenomenal— friendly, helpful, attentive, and professional— the food came out SO FAST, but still, the food wasn’t good enough for the price point.

My total came out to $29 before tax. But after tax, a $6 tip for the waitress and $4 for valet, it was $40+ for lunch . All I got was a bento box entree and drip coffee and there wasn’t any leftovers …

For the food: Salmon was fine , but smaller than expected, kinda fishy (not bad just not as high quality as expected), and pretty plain. Carrots were magical. Seriously the best part of it. Absolutely insane get the carrots if you’re a root veggie person. Cucumber salad was highway-robbery. It consisted of maybe a quarter of a cucumber w/ not even 2 halved cherry tomatoes (literally 3 little halves) , with a teeny tiny dollop of sauce underneath … not worth the money. Definitely should have opted for double carrots. The roll was a cafeteria roll. Drip coffee — was a totally find cup of coffee , but $6 for plain black drip coffee is wild!! I’m sorry what !?!

It was a fine experience overall bc I had a $15 coupon, but the coffee and cucumber salad made me feel like I had literally been robbed. With so many places with AMAZING food in Nashville, for equal or less money, I wouldn’t ever really recommend it to anyone unless they were staying...

Visited during Nashville Burger Week to try The Stomp Burger which was their featured special and appears on their regular menu as well. It started with valet parking. Nothing can ruin an evening like trying to find parking and fight for a space. It continued on with a wonderful server Gentry. Friendly and professional who's knowledge of the menu was impressive. Being a fine dining establishment, the burger was cooked to order to your liking to the standards of a medium or medium well etc. The bacon was crisp so biting into it you had a perfect bite instead of soggy bacon pulling out of the sandwich slapping you across the chin. The cheese fondue was amazing. The whiskey onion marmalade melted in my mouth. To support the participating business we also ordered sweet potato fries. Crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. They were perfect! No ketchup necessary! During special it was a $5.00 burger however I will gladly pay $19 for the regular menu price. The atmosphere was pleasing to the eye and not too noisy to have a conversation. There were other menu items I look forward to trying in the future. I will definitely be back. The pictures I have added were my actual meal. The presentation was awesome! I must say it was a truly pleasant...

Wow! We live locally and decided to try it because of Burger Week, but will definitely return! We have dined at Bourbon Steak a number of times and stayed overnight at the JWM but never tried Stompin’ Grounds. The food was amazing - my husband had the bento box salmon with the garlic potatoes & carrots and I had the special burger with delicious sweet potato fries. Those corn muffins & jam were so good that we purchased an order to go. And we ordered the quinoa bowl to go for dinner with chicken & avocado which will nicely complement our leftovers. The cherry on top of it was the service! The hostess (Saquinia -sp?) was so friendly upon arrival, Natasha was very attentive checking on us and last but not least, our server, Pearl. What a “gem” she was - delightful to chat with and our order came out PERFECT - (and I know I am difficult because everything is special order with me!). Kudos to the kitchen also! We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back - bonus that the hotel offers free valet for dining. Everyone (valet, lobby greeters, etc.) working at the hotel was very friendly and the property has been well maintained. Thank you for making it a...
