We are in Nashville staying at the Indigo Hotel which has incredible service. The restaurant could use some training of their employees and take note from the hotel employees. I called down to the restaurant this morning asking for a to go order. We wanted to split a brakfast croissant and I asked them to cut it in half and I was rudely told they were too busy to do that. As if because I wasn't sitting in the restaurant I wasn't a real customer and couldn't order what I want how I wanted it. And I'm not sure how you are too busy to cut a huge breakfast sandwich in half to make it manageable to eat. Honestly after that I chose to not eat there and went out to eat. And I won't eat at the District Bar & Kitchen for the rest of our week trip. Customer service is important in a service industry.

Originally I gave them a one star review because of the above but first thing this morning I got a call from the hotel manager with an apology and an offer for free breakfast. I wasn't expecting either. The hotel service rooms and everything is the best best I've experience honestly and ice stayed in many nice hotels. I'm in a hotel a few times a month sometimes and I wish they could all have the service the...

Sadly, I do not know if I would have discovered this delightful little oasis of a bar, restaurant, and live music had we not been staying here. I cannot express enough how our experience in this uncrowded, pleasing spot made our trip. Helena was beyond amazing...she was so friendly, kind, and really took care of us. We were not planning on eating here for dinner, but the atmosphere and congenial vive, made us decide to stay put and enjoy dinner while listening to the live music (which was outstanding). Helena, was amazing in helping us find the most delicious mix of food. It turned out to be my favorite meal while in Nashville. Helena was such a welcome sight every evening as she welcomed us and found exactly what we wanted.
