I visited White Limozeen for a bachelorette party today (July 31, 2024), and it was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. Although we arrived early for our 2pm reservation, we were met with immediate hostility from the two staff members at the host station. They informed us, with noticeable attitude, that the restaurant opened at 2pm, which we understood, but their delivery was far from welcoming. We requested to use the restroom while waiting, and although they were initially reluctant, they begrudgingly allowed us to use it but insisted on "escorting" us there. Just minutes before 2pm, my sister tried to take a photo of the empty restaurant out of excitement, only to have a staff member snap at her and block the camera, saying photos weren’t allowed until 2pm (photo attached). Who does this? It was so shocking and unprofessional. The hostility didn’t stop there. We noticed the hostesses talking disparagingly about our group and giving us dirty looks. When we were finally seated on the patio, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were told that moving inside would not be possible once we chose the patio. Given the blistering heat, we asked to move inside immediately after sitting down. The hostess then told us she’d have to “see what she could do,” despite the fact that only a few tables were occupied inside. She also stated that “once you’re out you can’t go back in and vice versa”. This is the oddest “rule”. We weren’t even able to see the patio because the curtains were covering the patio view from inside. Because of this, when we decided at the host stand to go outside, we had no idea what to expect. The tables were dirty, and the umbrellas did not cover us from the sun. After expressing our frustration, the “manager,” Danielle, was called. To our dismay, Danielle was one of the hostesses who had been talking badly about us. What a professional manager! Her response to our concerns was combative and unprofessional. Instead of addressing our concerns, she argued with us for 20 minutes and showed no regard for customer service. Eventually, we were moved inside, but the entire process was handled poorly. The food was underwhelming, and the overall experience was terrible due to rude, unprofessional staff and a lack of basic hospitality. Danielle, in particular, demonstrated a severe lack of class and customer service skills. White Limozeen was a complete letdown and needs to reassess their approach to guest interactions. This place is an utter joke, and I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreI’m honestly not one to ever write a negative review, but my friends and I were extremely disappointed by this experience. We had a reservation and were promptly seated at our table and greeted by the server. The four of us ordered a round of drinks and a large grazing board, which came out before our drinks were ready. It was probably 15-20 minutes after ordering that our cocktails were delivered, which was strange but not particularly upsetting. However, my friend ordered the Time of Your Life drink, a blended rum/pineapple situation. It was delicious, but they had sprinkled cinnamon on top and not advertised this. My friend didn’t realize, and as she is allergic to cinnamon, had a bit of a reaction. We believe this should be brought to customers’ attention on the menu. We enjoyed our drinks and board otherwise and confirmed with our waitress that we could go outside to take pictures. She said of course, and our table and belongings would still be waiting when we came back. We ordered another round of drinks and stepped outside for 20 minutes to take photos. Our waitress found us outside and told us our table was needed and was given up to other customers, about an hour and 45 minutes into our reservation. They told us we could collect our belongings at the host stand. We went inside and found my friend’s purse, left alone with cash and other important belongings inside, at the host stand. She had left it at the table, as we were assured by our waitress our belongings would be waiting for us inside. We felt it was unprofessional to rush us out of the restaurant and tack on 21% gratuity for mediocre and frankly rude service. Our waitress had to be found to come to the host stand so we could pay our bill. It seems like servers here are not interested in giving good service, as they are reassured by automatic gratuity. We are a group of young college girls, and I understand it is probably frustrating to be stiffed. However, I think it is tacky to generalize people by age and assume that we will accept worse service for the same money. It honestly felt very patronizing for a group with more than a $200 bill. I would not recommend going here unless you’re clearly older, richer, and more powerful. I don’t believe the staff would have removed our belongings and unfinished food from our table if we seemed like respectable career folk with a 6 figure income. We work hard for our money and came here for a rare vacation, not to be treated like...
Read moreI recently visited White Limozeen for a Bachelorette Party. We were extremely disappointed with how the manager, Danielle and the hostesses at the front entrance treated us immediately upon arrival. We arrived 5-10 minutes early for our 2pm reservation and were not well received. My cousin asked to use the restroom and she was met with an immediate reluctance. The staff member escorted her to the restroom as if she were about to commit some type of crime. When she exited the restroom, she took a photograph of the empty restaurant and he placed his arm and hand in-front of the camera. His close proximity made her feel very uncomfortable. She was very startled. The photo is attached to my review. There were several more instances of disrespect. For example, some staff members were making disparaging comments about our group within 5 feet of us. To our surprise, as the experience continued, we realized Manager Danielle was among the staff speaking poorly about us. This example demonstrates poor customer service skills and classless behaviour. Please note, she asked us to stop speaking about her staff, yet she was talking about us. My kindergarten students are much more respectful and show hospitable behaviour with appropriate social skills. A little more about Danielle, perhaps she should dress in a more professional manner when working in a picturesque venue. There was another discrepancy about indoor and outdoor seating. We were placed outside initially in 2 groups of 5, as per our reservation. The seating was in the corner with blinds obstructing our view (which we had been looking forward to). We asked to be seated inside and as a result and the situation was made much more complicated than it needed to be. When we moved inside, our seating arrangement became 7 and 3, so one of our tables was subject to an automatic 20% gratuity, which obviously was not deserved. In closing, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Nashville. Customer service should be a priority, the number one priority! I would hope that this feedback is evaluated by the owners and more senior staff. A very underwhelming and...
