Visited the Zaxby's on Charlotte last night. They close at 10, and I squeezed in and was the last order at 955. I was told very rudely they were closed. When I asked if they could take my order the lady on the loud speaker was rude almost shouting.. also she advised they only had tenders... she didn't say why and i didnt ask, but Im sure they had the menu items avail, they just didnt want to cook anymore food. Closing at 10 means, not taking any more customers at 10, not having everything ready to be out the door at 10... anyhow.. there was like 8 cars turned away before 10 and the person was so freakn rude to them..there were a few cars in front of me so by the time i get to the window, its 10. Im not sure if the young lady at the window was the same one over the speaker, but i took the time to thank her for letting me be the last order. I had just come from the hosp and I was initially ready to be as rude to them as they were to me.. but I decided to show kindness.. the only reason giving 1 star is she was a sweetheart to me, even though I could tell she was ready to go..
Lasty the food was cold, nasty, stale... I ordered a 6 piece tenders with double fries… there were was toast available and the fries were cold in stale with no seasonings on it and I only received 5 pieces of chicken instead of 6 even though I payed for 6 - and the chicken was cold… I know it was the last minute and they were closing but this is unacceptable … I have been to Zaxby's plenty of times and have never received such poor service and poor quality of food as this, I will never go to this location again. Managers need to do a better job at overseeing and training their staff. The employees are the face and an extension of your business. Im so utterly disgusted in my experience at this location. My money is not disposable, I will not be throwing it away at this...
Read moreI want to give a BIG BIG SHOUT OUT to the lady who answered my call today July 13th 2025 at the Charlotte Pike Zaxby’s I called in about my order not going thru as it said they was out of the wings an things! Iv never ever ever have been greeted and treated like that ever before she was soooo very very kind and sweet and I could tell she sounded busy very busy in her voice but The way she had her composure and the way she spoke to me is beyond amazing if we could have everyone be like her and treat people how she treated me when I just called in for a question that would make the world a better place it’s hard to find a good fast food place in Nashville where you get treated nice and Respectfully! I didn’t get her name but I hope that her boss sees this and knows they have a very good nice respectful woman working for them a she needs a raise!!!! People like her are the ones who deserve a raise because they are what makes people want to come back somewhere cause how she handles and talked was amazing thank you soooooo much! Read moreI went the through the drive through & my meal was wrong. When I told the guy at the drive through, he took my meal, said absolutely nothing to me then shut the drive through window while I was talking. I got my meal again & they had put cheese on the same meal that I handed them back which is very unsanitary to handle food that a customer had in their possession while handling other customers food. No one knows where my hands or mouth has been & your customers deserve more sanitary conditions. My fries were cold & the cheese was cold on my sandwiches & not melted. I took the food into the restaurant for a refund. I was not greeted by the manager Travis. Travis asked what was wrong & when I told him his only reply was “we can’t melt the cheese.” An excuse! No empathy or apology. When Travis gave me my receipt for the return it had someone else’s name on the receipt, “Andrew.” I called back again & spoke with another manager Jordan who said that “Andrew” (the persons name on the receipt who had nothing to do with the transaction) was not even at work so I’m not sure how or why Travis was signed into his register. I spoke with Jordan a second time who was eager to hear what had happened. He offered empathy & was apologetic. Still the experience that the guy in the drive thru & Travis gave me were terrible.
