As someone who frequent this area a lot going on little adventures to discover new shops and places I ended up trying this one lovely little coffee shop recently!
Asked the barista a few questions since the coffee menu had so many interesting varieties I was into, to which the lady was so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Ended up going twice and trying both the Cinnamon Maple Latte and Taro latte. The cinnamon maple latte was the absolute best latte I've had in Manhattan in a minute.
Interior itself was very minimal for my liking. Really wish there was more seating to enjoy with friends whom I've told about but I usually find It busy enough to not have the accommodating seating that I'd prefer.
Great price points, delicious lattes, all tucked away in what is for me an easy to miss spot. Is now going on my go to list of coffee...

Update: since the owner asked: the latte was lukewarm and the overall flavor was weak (stale coffee?). Of the 2 pastries, both were overwhelmingly sweet. One was warm and the other was cool, despite being held in a warming case. And the physical space was just grimy. I think the cafe is the lobby/entrance to a work space upstairs. It lacked any character or charm and the products were blah. The only other customers I saw were tourists which may explain the higher ratings? IDK, but I'd recommend folks go around the corner to Stumptown, La Colombe or Gregory...or better yet,...

We both got the cinnamon maple latte with different milks (regular and almond) and it was amazing and cinnamon-y with the perfect hint of sweetness from the maple syrup! Also tried the croissant and custard tart, both were good! There was a small selection of other baked items as well. Service was pretty quick - my iced latte was ready by the time I grabbed a chair to sit outside 👌🏻
The only downside is the store is kinda small so seating is limited (three stools at a side counter, and four chairs and a bench outside) which might limit time spent at the cafe...
