KFC — Restaurant in New York

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! Corporate needs to secret shop this place and close it down. It’s dirty, the employees are RUDE, and the food doesn’t stay fresh. Iv had 3 separate terrible experiences. IF YOU CAN GO TO THE ONE ON CONEY ISLAND AVE ITS ABOUT 10 MINUTES AWAY

First: we came here months ago went inside and an employee and server were cursing at each other arguing about how long it’s taking to order and people have been waiting for like 20-30 minutes for food. It was so long people were walking out. We got our food and it was mediocre and the biscuits were hard

Second: Went on September 9th, 2021 and it was around 7pm. We tried to use the drive through and the intercom wasn’t working so the lady had to wave us to the window. We ordered the family piece with mash potatoes and Mac and cheese. The lady at the window had a major attitude, she cut me off in the middle of my order and told me I can’t choose my sides and it only comes with mash and coleslaw. She wouldn’t allow me to have Mac and cheese. I said fine and ordered anyway. The chicken was sticky and gross and wash fresh and the biscuits were again hard. It was actually the worse KFC iv tasted.

Third: September 19th, 2021 at about 1pm. I only came back here because my family really wanted KFC. I went up to the drive through and waited 10 minutes and got no response. Since it was broken the other day I drove up to the window. The lady behind window wouldn’t serve my family because she made a “wait” hand signal I couldn’t see from her drive through window. She told me I had to drive back around. She was rude, unreasonable, and cut me off when I spoke. I didn’t do it. I refuse to spend money there again and I highly suggest everyone avoid this KFC until the do a complete overhaul of their servers and managers. It’s unacceptable. Old Review: Visited this KFC branch today and had a horrible experience. The cashier Rahman was very helpful, but despite I couldn't get over the rude and pompous attitude coming from the other two ladies (the older lady and especially the lady with the red dreds) who were serving us.

I placed an order and the lady with the red dreds gave me my order by saying "HERE!" in a nasty demeanor. They made a mistake with the order and when I walked back to inform her, she had an attitude, spoke very loudly and unprofessionally and said "WHAT'S THE PROBLEM!" She then denied she made an error. However, Rahman was able to correct the issue in a positive manner.

As I left, the lady with the red dreds stared me and my family down with a nasty look as if we did something wrong.

Management needs to give the unprofessional workers I encountered some customer service training. I don't think I'll be purchasing from this branch anymore.

Update: Visited this KFC on 2/6/2022 because my family was craving it. And just when you thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Stood in line and waited while the "worker" (and I use the term loosely) stood there ignoring me and chit chatting with another "worker". She did not begin to take my order until the other worker told to. Once she took my order, the other "worker" said the mashed potatoes didn't look right and that it was made incorrectly. Yet she still served me two containers 🤢🤮. Before I left I asked for ketchup and they said they ran out (who runs out of ketchup at a fried chicken fastfood?). To top it off,the food was disgusting. The mashed potatoes were like glue, the biscuits were hard, and the chicken looked like someone already took a bite. Plus I got partial of a wing.

Terrible place and the staff is even worse. The franchise owner should shut this...

Horrible service. Wanted a quick bite Wednesday evening, so I went to the drive through. Nobody answered. Sat there a few minutes then drove up to the next window. There was someone in the store that saw me but said nothing to me. I decided to go inside. As I was walking in a worker told me that the drive through was closed. It's only 7:30 by the way. Never known a drive through to close that early. I go inside and a worker with long eyelashes doesn't greet me she continues wiping the counter ignoring my presence. I asked if they were open. She said yes, but never asked to help me. I waited a minute, asked again , she said yes, then the worker that entered the restaurant when I did came to take my order. As I was paying she asked if I had .30 cents in change. I gave her .50 cents. She gave me my food and left, not giving me my change. When I called her back she said I told you I didn't have change. I asked so I don't get my change? I told her to return my quarter. She did, and I left quickly. I wasn't going to report this experience because I don't want to put anyone's job in jeopardy, but felt compelled to leave this review in the hopes that the owner of this franchise will revamp his staff and remodel the facility. It looks terrible inside and out.

This experience has changed my desire to want to ever eat at a KFC ever again. I am shocked. The people of the Sunset Park community deserve a cleaner restaurant and respect from the workers they spend their hard earned money with....
