I celebrated a close friend’s birthday here this past Sunday and left with mixed emotions.
Since we were a large party, we had to pay a deposit (about $10 per person) and preorder our food. We chose the $75 birthday menu package, but I felt the brunch options were limited, with several items carrying a steep $20 upcharge.
Day of Brunch: Our reservation was at 4 PM, but when we arrived, there was a long, unmoving line outside in the cold and rain. We had been told to arrive on time or risk losing our table, yet we weren’t let in until after 4 PM. The check-in process was uncomfortable, with the search feeling overly aggressive; a sentiment shared by others in our group & other patrons.
Once inside, we were seated quickly, and the table was clean and well-prepared for a large party. A highlight was that the staff brought out every flavor of the bottomless drinks, ensuring they didn’t run out quickly. While the drinks were on the sweet side and not very strong, I’d recommend the Rum Punch if I had to choose.
The DJ was decent, though the transitions could’ve been smoother, and the hosts were fun and engaging. They made sure everyone had a good time and gave every birthday person a shoutout.
The Food: I ordered the jerk wings, which were good, but after tasting the buffalo wings, I liked those even better. The biggest issue with the service was how rushed it felt. We barely got into our appetizers before the entrees arrived. For my entree, I had the Rasta pasta with shrimp. While the pasta was enjoyable, the shrimp was overly salty. Others in my group also complained about the saltiness of their dishes, though we all agreed the wings were the highlight. To-Go containers were brought out early while we were still eating, which felt rushed.
The Afterparty: After brunch, we were encouraged to head to the afterparty, but this part of the experience fell apart quickly. The space was much smaller than the main area, and it was packed with everyone from brunch trying to fit in. It could’ve been a great nostalgic bashment vibe, but the floors felt shaky, and a mysterious leak appeared where my friends and I were standing.
I reported the leak, and while a host (shorter gentleman and he had a salt and pepper beard) initially came with me, he disappeared into the crowd. This was frustrating, so I had to report it again to security, who seemed indifferent and tried to dismiss me. Eventually, someone else came, confirmed the leak, and took photos, but by this point, the experience had already been soured and several people had since departed. Despite all of this, we were trying to make the best of it in honor of my friends birthday.
Throughout the night, more leaks appeared, soaking people and their belongings, with some complaining about water getting into their drinks, which is unsanitary. The unstable floors made it difficult to full enjoy ourselves, with drinks and hookahs sliding on the tilted tables. It felt like the afterparty space wasn’t designed to handle large crowds, it seemed hastily renovated without much thought to functionality or safety.
By the end of the night, with leaks worsening and the floor feeling increasingly unstable, we decided to leave.
Final Thoughts: If you come here, I’d suggest sticking to the brunch and skipping the afterparty. Due to this experience, I won’t be returning and can’t recommend...
Read moreI celebrated my birthday here. We had a party of 10. I will say that the aesthetic on the Instagram profile does not suit the reality of this place.
The security guards search you to where you feel like you’re being violated.
One of my friends didn’t have her ID and they charged her $30 to get in. Which means minors can get into this place if they have an extra $30.
If you don’t get there on time they say you’ll lose your table. We got there on time and they didn’t even have our table out yet. I mean they had not pulled the table from storage. It took 45 minutes to be seated.
The music was great and the vibe was as well. I think that’s all that I can say I enjoyed. However, we stayed maybe until 9pm and then left completely because we were all sober.
The package we chose was 90 Minute Unlimited Mimosa which really tasted like 4 Locos. It took them over an hour to start bringing the mimosas out. It was syrup and some type of juice mixed together. Mimosas do not require any type of syrup. I’ll upload a video where you can see my cup full of thick syrup. We all chose to not drink the mimosas. We were then brought margaritas which were just as full of syrup. We chose not to drink them.
The food… most of my party got chicken and waffles and they all hated it. It tasted like it was catered and then microwaved when ordered. I had rasta pasta which was decent.
We tried even considering the after party space that they provided but it is so small that it’s unrealistic.
On the Instagram profile, the drinks and the food look amazing. I was and am still...
Read moreI attended the Intl Brunch last Sunday, 4:15 pm slot. They are not as strict as they say about the 15 minute grace period, as people were still coming when it was 5/5:30pm. The food was basic, but it wasn’t bad. My friend and I ordered the buffalo wings, mac & cheese, and cheeseburger sliders with fries. The sliders are only made one way: well done. When the food came out, it wasn’t really hot, almost as if it was just sitting there. The wings were really good, as well as the mac & cheese.
The atmosphere was really nice, and they played a good selection of music. The host had great vibes and energy as well. They also offered hookah, and the girl that did it was very nice and would occasionally check on us. This brunch series would be good if you are celebrating a birthday/occasion, but I wouldn’t recommend for a regular brunch. It was a bit overpriced for the quality. My friend and I got the unlimited pitchers, but the first one brought out was warm and ice wasn’t provided until we asked. We had one pitcher of Prosecco, and another pitcher of margaritas. The first pitcher was good, but the second pitcher, all you could taste was the margarita mix that was used. I had a little buzz, but beyond that, I was mostly sober.
Overall, the aesthetic that is promoted and advertised online is not the same as in person. It is a good vibe, but personally, it is pricey for the quality you...
